A small hostel in a hotel quality located in the center of the city. Very nice, clean rooms. There is really nothing to reproach. Also communication with the owner was smooth. They waited us at the agreed time and gave us a key from the room and the entrance. Simply, all what one needs.

Room was really nice. Comes with TV, couch and beds. We had our own private bathroom which was very clean, well looked after and cleaned daily. There is a communal fridge you can put things in if you want to keep stuff cool. Anastasia and Tina told us exactly where to go and what to see. They were super helpful...

Thank you for a very nice stay in Vienna! The K&T Boardinghouse is located as centrally as you can wish, only a few minutes walking distance to Mariahilferstrasse, Museumsquartier and Naschmarkt - ads still very quiet. Tina and her assistant are really friendly and helpful. There is no breakfast included, but you get tea and coffee, there is a water...

We stayed a few nights during Dec 2016 in this great little place. It's in the first level of a apartment building. It's worth noting that there were a few flights of stairs to enter the property. We travel with a 2 year old toddler and had to carry the pram up and downstairs. It was feasible but slightly inconvenient....

This was one of the best places I stayed on my trip. In a great location, just 10-15 minute walk down a bustling shopping street (pedestrian only much of the way) and 15 minutes from center of town. Safe, and huge room. Comfy bed, clean bathroom w/small couch. The girl checking you in is very helpful in planning activities. There...

The K&T Boarding house is centrally located and close to public transportation and the Museum Quartier. Tina and Anastasia were very helpful and friendly. The room was clean, warm and quiet. We were able to leave our bags at the Boardinghouse after checking out and retrieve them later in the day which was extremely helpful.

Don't let the unfortunate name "boardinghouse" scare you away. This is an excellent hotel to stay at while in Wien and we would not hesitate to stay here again. Rooms are updated and clean, the beds comfortable, WIFI was fast and the hotel itself is ideally located. It's literally around the corner from the nearest UBahn stop (U3). Major tourist...

We had a 3 night stay at K&T Boardinghouse. The accommodations were very good. The room was immaculate and cleaned every day. Also Tina was very helpful with how to navigate the Vienna transportation system and with recommendations of places to see and where the eat. The location is outstanding. We would definitely stay there again.

We had a large double bed room and it was quite cheap. Tina was very friendly and told us everything about Vienna: Where to go, what to do etc. We felt us very welcome. Thank you Tina for the nice weekend!

Staying in Mariahilf

Neighbourhood Profile
Mariahilf
Vienna’s sixth district hosts high street shopping heaven and pedestrian area Mariahilfer Strasse. The weirdest local building is probably the city aquarium Haus des Meeres, housed in one of Vienna’s six remaining World War II defense towers, and topped with a rooftop bar that offers stunning views over Vienna and the centre. One of the most historic sites in the area is the passageway of 18th century Raimundhof with its small shops and cafés. It leads from Mariahilfer Strasse to Windmühlgasse. For a glimpse into the world of early 19th century theater, visit Semperdepot, the former depository for theatre decoration, which now hosts art exhibitions and fairs.
