Went for a meal in the cafe. Setting is really nice. Very old worldy. Staff really helpful and pleasant. Weiner Schnitzels were fantastic, and huge portion. Two glasses of wine to accompany and price was reasonable. Thursday evening and it was not busy.

From entrance, to interior, staff and facilities were absolutely sublime. Located at the very heart of Vienna, Hotel Imperial offers stunning views over the city and a regal respite in every aspect. Staff are jovial, prim, and attentive in tandem with the hotel luxury status. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a memorable visit to a beautiful city at a hotel that has well earned it's status as one of the best hotels Europe has to offer.

Very very good experience staying in the hotel . Good service and the facilities were great . Staff went beyond the call of duty to help and have a lot of human touch . The hotel is nothing but luxury . It is one of the best that I had stayed . Certainly will be back in due course

Vienna is a city of superlatives. The architecture is phenominal - and never ending. There are famous statues, museums and shopping. These are all wonderful external experiences, but we discovered there is more. "Hotel" is a weak description for the Imperial. It is actually a palace designed for royalty. Staying there, eating in the restaurant, sleeping in a palace room, visiting with the front desk thoroughly infused us with the Vienna atmosphere. Each member of the entire staff is so welcoming and generous that we feel honored. Walking the red carpet stairs is being royalty! It's essentially impossible to get a ticket to the Musikverein New Years concert, but other times it's easy to get a ticket on line ahead of time. Then just walk out the back door of the Imperial Hotel. The hotel is located just a short walk from the Opera and the shopping district and St Steven's Cathedral. It's an easy taxi ride to the Schonbrunn summer palace. Get a ticket on line for a dinner and concert there too. If you're celebrating, we recommend the Imperial Celebrations cocktail. There are probably other places to park, but we think the Imperial valet parking is so easy and reasonable that we would not consider anything else. Again, these professionals are the epitomy of courtesy. We also appreciated that the route into the city and hotel as well as back out is straightforward, with no issues of confusion or dificulty.

10 out of 10 I recommend. The hotel itself is stunning and old school beautiful. But the staff is why I will return to this hotel. Specifically, Sebastian at the concierge desk was perfection! Sebastian was the ultimate concierge – kind, funny, and charming. He went above and beyond, from calling Chase customer service for us to personally walking us through two room options. His attentiveness extended to securing dinner reservations, suggesting delicious restaurants, and even helping us find the hottest nightlife. He welcomed us each night upon our return to the hotel by name and confirmed that we were having a good visit. He was a historian on the hotel guests and you can tell he really loves his job and people; he is the kind of person that makes you feel like you are his favorite! He even cleaned my son's shoes and then wrote us a thank you card for using the service. He got us an imperial cake for my son's bday too! Give this guy a promotion - he should be running Marriott!

Unfortunately this would rate as the worst hotel experience of my life. The hotel looks lovely and is in a great location and the staff in the cafe at breakfast were welcoming but that was all. The room was very nice for the first night but in the middle of my second night I was woken up by a terrible smell of sewerage coming from the bathroom. The smell was so bad I couldn't open the bathroom door. I had to get dressed and pack up all my belongings at midnight to move to another room. I had two hours' sleep before having to get up for a full day tour the next day. I received no apology and the staff at reception the following morning just shrugged. I have since been told that this is a problem with there is high occupancy at the hotel. I wasn't even staying in peak season so I expect this is an ongoing issue. When I advised reception that I was very unhappy I was asked if ever stayed at a heritage hotel before as if health hazards were something I should expect. The next morning I woke up in the second room to discover that my feet and ankles were covered in bites and they were more bites the next night. I had never had this experience anywhere in the world before I initially thought it might be an allergy and I was only after I checked out that I was told they were flea bites. Pest control must also be an ongoing problem at this hotel. Stay anywhere else but here. Unfortunately Tripadvisor will not let me give the hotel no stars or negative stars.

Excellent Hotel, and very Hospitable staff. Excellent Room , cleanliness . We only thought that they had very limited Vegetarian food. This should be improved. Hotel is very well located. 5 minutes walk from Opera and 7 minutes to the walking district. Most of the sight seeing places and Concert places are very close. Overall wonderful stay in March 2024

We just checked out of this beautiful hotel and from beginning to end it was a first class experience. The staff really went above and beyond to enhance our stay . I would specifically like to mention the excellent service of the Concierge and Front Desk team, Anita, Selencia, Manfred and Sebastian. They were all a pleasure to work with . I cannot recommend this hotel enough .

The hotel truly captures the old world Viennese charm. The decor stays true to its historic roots and furnishings. Additionally, the plush bedding and Byredo amenities in the bathroom will have you feeling very comfortable and cozy. The morning breakfast is the cafe is outstanding with Champagne, all kinds of smoked meats and cheeses. It is a feast every day.

We had a lovely stay this UNESCO World Heritage hotel that truly pampered us like royalty!! The entire experience was impressive, we stayed in a junior suite that was beautifully decorated with paintings and lovely Baroque-style furniture. The bathroom was gigantic and super comfortable, and the overall coziness of the rooms is indescribable—it's a must-try! We also enjoyed drinks in the main bar near the reception, which was fantastic, and had dinner at the Imperial Café—an atmosphere I definitely recommend. Thanks a million; it's truly a must-try hotel museum! Last but not least, the staff was incredible. The person who checked us in and out, whose name I can't recall at the moment (apologies if we can't recall your name), and Raphael, were both seriously so nice! Thanks for everything. 🙂
