We spent 17 nights in Europe recently at lovely Starwood properties and our 3 nights in Vienna at the Hotel Bristol were the highlight. The location is perfect, the staff is impeccable and helpful, the room was outstanding, and the breakfasts were sublime. Our time here was magical. When planning ahead, we considered a couple of other properties nearby...I'm SO...

We chose this hotel as it was for us in the centre of where we wanted to be. The Opera is a few steps away, the famous Sacher Hotel tortes, coffee shops, shopping centres and at least two good grocery and wine stores. The hotel itself is elegantly decorated and the rooms spacious. The Concierge staff were so helpful and...

This hotel is beautiful with an excellent staff providing supreme service. There was a heated floor in the bathroom, great amenities, nightly turndown service with chocolate and a wonderful concierge. The location was great and central to everything being right outside the Karlsplatz tube stop. It was also walking distance to many major sites.

This hotel is spectacular from start to finish. The property was the first hotel to have electricity in Vienna when it was built and is very quiet, clean, comfortable and outstanding customer service. When I arrived, I was immediately greeted with a "welcome Back" from Sasha whom remembered me from a previous visit and immediately pulled up my information from...

Directly across the street from the Vienna Staatsopera and near the center of shopping and close to many museums and palaces, the Hotel Bristol defines elegance with lovely large rooms with excellent service. The restaurant is 1st class for both full service breakfast and gourmet dinner. The concierge service is superb as well. Highly recommended.

We had an outstanding stay at the Bristol. The entire staff was helpful and accommodating in every aspect. Our room was upgraded and the location was perfect! We would definitely return! My only recommendation would be to provide a more reasonably priced breakfast .

If you are looking for authentic Austrian opulence, Hotel Bristol is it. Excessively spacious rooms, with oversized portraits of Austrian aristocracy, several pieces of obsolete but elegant furniture, busy baroque patterned curtains, and two - yes two bathrooms per bedroom, it is perfect old world glamour.

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
