Great location, beautiful lobby, and historic. The bathroom off the lobby is alone worth a visit. Rooms are large and decor is traditional, but not in an old musty way. Ask for a room facing the Opera house.
The location is superb.
The physical facilities are elegant, from the common areas to the room decoration. My wife and I really felt like we were transported back in time (in a good way). Hotels like this don't exist in any but a few North...More
From the minute we entered the Bristol, we experienced superb service in an historical setting. This hotel is in keeping with its original grandeur. Such as the oldest elevator in (Europe? Vienna?) anyway it's old. And unusual, and beautiful. I'm a stair climber myself but...More
We are on our third city with one more to go. The staff at the Bristol has gone out of their way to make us feel welcome. The breakfast is top notch and they have made reservations with great efficiency. i would recommend this hotel...More
Bristol offers a wide range of rooms/suits. I stayed in a standard double. Nice and affordable. I am sure you could spend a lot of Money from morning till night in Bristol, but Vienna as a city offers much more...

In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The
Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.

thank you for your interest in the Hotel Bristol Vienna. There is no Club Lounge similar to Ritz Carlton at the Hotel Bristol. What we do have is an American Bar and the "Bristol Lounge" - a modern All-Day-Dining-Restaurant with historical ambience. The bar and the restaurant invite its guests in cozy and exquisite atmosphere to stay. Furthermore we have a Business Center, located on the 5th floor and equipped with computers and printers - available free of charge and 24 hours a day. Free Wifi is provided in the entire property.
