This hotel is closed! Hard to see how these "people" are providing genuine reviews. The front garden is now a public car park. One entrance is blocked off with rubble. The building is now u maintained. The garden is visible from the Belvedere gardens and is going to ruin too.

Absolutely pleasant reception, personal, with everything prepared and in place as asked prior to arrival. The rooms very tastefully decorated, the entire place immaculate. Food is excellent prepared with love and pride. Formidable vine list to accompany any meal perfectly. The coffee, I dare say, was great. Yes, I said it! Staff very well mannered with the added Vienna charm,... More

My husband and l were there part pleasure part business. We found the Managing Director to be the most helpful person, nothing was to much trouble. The staff very accomodating, the food perfect. Our stay was most charming. We will go back one day when time allows. We have a small Country House Hotel in Gillingham Dorset, so for us... More

My husband and I had really looked forward to staying here based on the beautiful photos of a pink palace like hotel shown all over the web. First and foremost, the hotel is not even the same color as in the photos. Second, a majority of the main building is completely off limits as it appears to comprise of ballrooms... More

We spent a week-end there in November 2003 and would like to stay there again when we come back to Vienna. A lot of atmosphere. Friendly and smiling staff. The hotel is located a little bit outside of the city center, but nothing is very far in Vienna.

A dream hotel in a dream city. You wake up and look out the window at a magnificent private park, with allees of trees, statuary, a Baroque fountain. Though housed in a palace, the hotel is cosy, more like a country inn in some ways, but with exceptional service, atmosphere, and food. Amazingly prompt room service, super friendly staff, and... We stayed 2 nights here in October, 2002 and planned what we thought would be the most opulent place for the last nights of a 3 week vacation in Germany & Austria. The staff was the best encountered down to our own personal butler who arranged everything for us perfectly, even a personal tour of the palace itself. Even tho... More

The hotel is in a beautiful private palace setting (a sight in its own right) and I enjoyed the morning walks in the palace park most (though a bit small by palace standards) and I missed it already. The people are extremely polite and nice although I had to warm up to this hotel and its staff initially. Seemed like... More

We just returned from a 3-night stay here as part of my vacation. What a blast. This is an actual royal palace that was converted into a hotel, with much of the decor and furnishings kept intact. Be sure and sneak into the grand ballrooms (which were hosting private events while we were there, but we snuck in when the... More
