Recently stayed at this hotel when traveling for work. Really impressed with the hotel starting with how helpful the staff were. Taking the time to point what's available in the local town.
The hotel rooms were really spacious and cleaned to a high standard.

We had a good stay @ starlight. Distance to Stephansplaz is super, good connection to U-Bahn (Stephansplatz or Herrengasse), the personal is very friendly, breakfast is good and fresh (instead of the hot chocolate) and we got a free upgrade to a better room. :))...More
Excellent value for spacious room in a great location close to Old Town. 5 min walks to Albertina square to meet for Free Walking Tours and along Ring Road. Extremely friendly staff who eager to please. Breakfast was plentiful and healthy. Nice touch with cappuccinos...More
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The
Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.

Schottentor, where several tram lines cross and where is one underground line, is very near, about 8-10 minutes. There is also one tram station approx. 3 minutes from hotel, only one stop away from Schottentor on one side and one stop away from Schottenring on the other (where two underground lines cross).
