The room was modern, comfortable and clean. The hotel staff bends over backwards to help you enjoy your stay, not only in their hotel but your stay in Vienna as well. A car is not necessary, it's an easy walk to all on the old city attractions. Bus tours will pick you up almost in front of the hotel if...

Stayed at the hotel Stefanie for 3 nights. Lovely ambience, great staff and comfy rooms. Breakfast is amazing and the team there are superb. Nothing was too much problem to ensure that you have a great time. Only issue I found was, that outside my room it was quite busy in the car park early morning. That said I did...

We stayed for five nights just before Christmas. We had two rooms, a double for me and my husband and a single for my mum. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent with lots of hot and cold choice and good quality ingredients. A tea/coffee tray is provided in your room if you request it. There was...

Hotel Stefanie is just a 20 minute walk from the centre of the old city, but with a tram passing literally in front you don't need to worry. It is clean and the staff were helpful and polite. The room we had was bigger than we expected (yes I'm talking about you Barcelona!) and probably our only complaint was that...

The room size was not big but it was very clean and cozy. The location is amazing, just minutes away from St Stephens church or district 1. Very near to train station with connectivity to all major spots. Prater is also walking distance. Many choices in breakfast. Friendly staff and very helpful.

Spacious bedrooms and bathrooms with tub where you can relax after a day of sightseeing or business. Full service hotel with very helpful staff. Smorgasbord breakfast included with lots of choices but the eggs were only boiled. Mine wasn't cooked. Other than that, very delicious. Close to the Metro, Hop on-and-off bus, and within walking distance of the center and...

The service of the hotel-staff is excellent. Friendly, eye for detail, respect for clients. The hotel is nicely situated towards the old city of Vienna but also in a relatively quiet area. Consider the superior-rooms: they are wunderfull. Good bed. Great breakfast!

An extremely stylish four star hotel with excellent service and a buffet breakfast with a large amount of choice. Tram 2 stops right outside so it's easy to get around the city. Wood panelling, newspapers and a piano in the reception area give it a certain style.

Staying in Leopoldstadt

Neighbourhood Profile
Leopoldstadt
Welcome to one of Vienna’s trendiest quarters. The second district has witnessed a turbulent ride, from medieval swamp to vibrant Jewish quarter, from pleasure ground for the noble and humble to current hip residence and workplace of Vienna’s creative crowd. Cross the Danube Canal from the city centre and take in life on Taborstrasse with its mix of old townhouses, churches, theatres, discount shops and ethnic restaurants. Head for Augarten via Karmelitermarkt, Leopoldstadt’s trendy marketplace. Baroque Augarten itself hosts a bizarre mix of manicured hedges and flowerbeds in front of a colossal World War II defense tower, the publicly accessible 300-year-old Augarten porcelain manufactory, the palatial boarding school and funky concert hall of the Vienna Boys Choir, and the modern art museum TBA21. At its opposite corner, The Prater not only houses the Giant Ferris Wheel but blends a bustling amusement park with lush woodland, perfect for a bike tour. Further east is the old derby racing ground of Krieau.
