Stayed here in a fourth-floor double room middle of April. Staff are very friendly everywhere from the reception to housekeeping staff and breakfast staff too. The room was lovely, small but perfect with a kettle, small fridge and a safe. The TV is very modern and the bed was rellay comfortable. The city centre is about 20 minutes walk away...

Nice hotel, quite close to the center and to the market (walking distance). The staff was very friendly and responsive, breakfast is rich and good. The first room we received felt small as it was on the last floor, but changed the room and it was big and spacious.

This is a really nice hotel tucked away on a side street in a suburban area of Vienna. The public areas are quite small but the breakfast is exceptional and I would say one of the most impressive things about the hotel is the wonderful courtyard area to the rear. Rooms are comfortable and quiet too. Highly recommended!

Stayed here for 2 night over the weekend. It was surprising that the lobby and the room were very well maintained. I thought it was upgraded in the last 6 months but was told that the last upgrade was 2 years ago. The room was big enough and well space with good spread of breakfast. The city is about 15...

Neat and comfortable, this hotel is within walking distance to the Opera and shops. Very quiet, although it is downtown. Good restaurant: the beef soup, Wienerschnitzel and apple strudel were excellent. The front desk was extremely helpful and friendly both on arrival and departure.

Quiet location, very clean rooms, a little small, bathrooms were nice. Easy but 20 minute walk to ring. The breakfast was excellent, good selection and quality food. Service was good and the bar area was very nice. The neighborhood was quiet, many restaurants and stores nearby. U4 station was just a 4 minute walk down the street.

Staying in Margareten

Neighbourhood Profile
This former working class district blends hip eateries and avant-garde cinema with a time travel into 1950s Vienna. Feel the district’s pulse at Margaretenhof and Schlossquadrat. 19th-century Margaretenhof is a local icon, yet has very non-Viennese architecture with its brick structure and cast-iron verandas. The nearby urban Renaissance castle of Schlossquadrat houses several restaurants. In the summer you can sit in its romantic shady courtyard over Schnitzel and Kracherl (traditional fizzy syrup). Siebenbrunnenplatz and its surrounding shops and grocery stores have remained virtually unchanged in the past 60 years: taking a walk there is like stepping into a 1950s film set. Speaking of movies, head to avant-garde cinema Filmcasino in the evening. It often stages foreign language cult films.
