The only good thing i found about this hotel was its location. The rooms are quite poor quality, one of the worst bed (flat and stiff), boring breakfast and a very annoying auto-off light in the bathroom. There is not even an inside lock at the room door (anyone can enter if they

Dear guest, many thanks for taking the time and passing on a review on TripAdvisor. We are very sorry to hear that you were so unhappy with your stay at our Hotel Royal. You would have had the chance to contact our reception team and ask them for a room change – of course, depending on availability – but they would have tried to make things better for you! Regarding the hardness of our beds, we are sorry to hear that they were too hard for your needs. Unfortunately, this is a matter of taste – and in general, guests ask for harder mattresses than having them too soft. We are very traditionally minded and are using the old key system, because it really fits with us and we have a better guest contact and a better control of who is in the Hotel. Of course, if you are in the room, you must lock the door, when you are inside. We hope to get another chance to welcome you in Vienna and in the meantime, we remain with best regards, The Kremslehner family on behalf of the Hotel Royal team

I was here on a business trip and upon reviewing the hotel it was great but once I opened that door and saw the room I was shocked that 350 euros a night would get me this... there was a double bed great, NO! I was alone so I got a single duvet that could maybe cover a small midg

Dear guest! We are more than sorry to hear that you had reason to complain after your recent stay at our Hotel Royal. We really regret the fact that you dit not address reception during your stay because we could have changed all these points very easily - but we did not know. We would have changed your room or the matress or could have given you a topper for your mattress. We are happy to hear that our team did a good job and that you enjoyed our Julius Meinl coffee! We are really sorry that we could not meet your expectations but we want to point out once more that we would have done our best to improve your situation if we would have known. Seasons greetings from Vienna, your family Kremslehner on behalf of your Royal team

Couldn't be more centrally located. Quiet. Service was very friendly! Great price for what you get. Was a trip to see our relatives. Breakfast was good with plenty to choose from. My sister kept thanking me for picking this hotel.

Good evening ,we are coming to your hotel on 13th October , could you advise the best place to eat with a 8 year old child for the evening. A Robertson
Either you try one of our in house restaurants - Firenze or Settimo Cielo - we would go for the Firenze , because it offers traditional Italian food or we could recommend Trattoria Santo Stefano in Dorotheergasse 3 - just 2 minutes walk which offers Pizza as well. Best greetings your Family Kremslehner
