A rare gem in an ideal location in Vienna, within walking distance of everything you could need and within a few minutes walk to two lines of the U-bahn. Rooms have individual character, clear attention to detail and couldn't possibly have been cleaner. The style of interiors was truly impressive and charmingly representative of 'old Vienna'. They also offer above-average... More

Very friendly small hotel in a perfect position for the museums and main shopping area, easily accessible from the tube, a ten minute walk to the hop on hop off buses which are a must do to take you to all the main attractions you also get some free admissions with the price too. Given it is a 3 star hotel: Location is superb: You can forget about driving: close to museum quarter, opera house, shopping, you name it. 24/7 reception also helps. Parking is available. Rooms are quite spacious, separate bathroom and toilet- quite convenient for optimizing morning routine;) And now, breakfast. If not this one, I would give hotel 5 stars: there... More

A fine little secluded hotel in the Mariahilf area, not far from the Museum Quartier (recommended!), very close to underground. Signficant drawback: reach it via pretty significant staircase (you end up schlepping your luggage). Nice breakfast although a bit limited (no warm offerings, very limited fruits/veggies, no nuts). A/C in room didn't work few days (but wasn't really needed so... More

Dear assoc-Professor, thank you very much for your recent stay in our hotel and for taking you time to comment. Please note that in consideration for the environment and the energy consumption we deem it not necessary to operate the aircondition in October. I think you will agree that the climate here in Vienna at that time of the year... More

Very reasonably priced and comfortable hotel just 3 minutes walk from Neubaugasse ubahn and the busy shopping street of Maria Hilfer Strasse - despite this it's still a quiet location. Rooms were sizeable, though there weren't many electrical sockets. Breakfast was decent, though the room was a bit cramped. Staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. Overall, highly recommended.

I don't know whether all double rooms are the same but ours was quite large by European standards. The room opened directly into the lobby which would not have been our first choice but we actually had no noise issues. There was an interior door into the sleeping area separating it from the small entry way, bathroom and closet which... More

This a great hotel in a very convenient location. Five minutes walk to the U-3 subway. Close to the old city center and to restaurants and shopping. The front desk was friendly and helpful. They made my stay in Vienna very enjoyable. Highly recommended.

This hotel is a nice older hotel - don't expect any bells or whistles, but it is a good place to explore Vienna. It is a short distance walk to the Opera House. Very simple but comfortable. Breakfast is decent and plentiful. Nothing against the hotel, but I might try a different place if I went back to Vienna. That... More

Stayed for 4 nights, cannot recommend it enough, the hotel is in a central location and is spotless. I asked the reception for help with information with regards to our onward journey and the gentleman who I don't know his name, but he was charming and had a beard! He was so helpful and kind, you must stay here if... More

Vienna’s art district, Neubau buzzes with galleries, arts and crafts, trendy restaurants, avant-garde shops, and cafés. Neubau’s Spittelberg quarter with cobblestoned Spittelberggasse and Gutenberggasse make for a perfect stroll alongside Biedermeier houses and art shops. Don’t miss the historic courtyard at Amerlinghaus with its typical Pawlatschen galleries, a perfect hangout on a warm summer evening. If you love interiors, head for the Imperial Furniture museum (Hofmobiliendepot), one of the world’s largest furniture collections. Find your favorites among a dazzling array of Baroque, Biedermeier, Art Nouveau and Modernist chairs, sofas, cupboards, coat hangers, foot stools and wash basins.
