Overall, a good hotel with most staff being extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is located between two tube stops and the local tram is just in front of the hotel. The rooms are of a decent size and there is a safe deposit box, which becomes quite useful, Room amenities are of good quality. They have partnered with a...

The hotel is very well placed for restaurants and public transport with a 15 minute walk to the Centre. Staff helpful and friendly. Large rooms and bathrooms with plenty of shelving and storage space. Excellent breakfast.

The hotel was very central to large number of shops, tram, underground, train station and the airport bus stop. An easy commute to city centre, and an easy walk to the State Opera house. The hotel itself was clean, rooms were very adequate and a selection of eco friendly toiletries provided. Facilities included use of a gym, jacuzzi, sauna, and a...

The room didn't have new furniture, but it was very clean and comfortable. It was looking at the street, but it was quite at night. Breakfast buffet has great variety of food and everything was very tasty. The location of the hotel was very good. It is very close to the top of Mariahilferstrasse and it is also close to...

Well located near to a main west train station. Tram stops are also very close to the hotel. The surrounding area isn't the most picturesque, but feels safe enough. The hotel has keycard operated lifts for extra security too. Reception staff were friendly on check in, the room was clean and had everything one would need for a short stay,...

Staying in Neubau

Neighbourhood Profile
Vienna’s art district, Neubau buzzes with galleries, arts and crafts, trendy restaurants, avant-garde shops, and cafés. Neubau’s Spittelberg quarter with cobblestoned Spittelberggasse and Gutenberggasse make for a perfect stroll alongside Biedermeier houses and art shops. Don’t miss the historic courtyard at Amerlinghaus with its typical Pawlatschen galleries, a perfect hangout on a warm summer evening. Museumsquartier is Neubau’s undisputed highlight: the former Imperial stables house various top museums of 19th to 21st century art. If you love interiors, head for the Imperial Furniture museum (Hofmobiliendepot), one of the world’s largest furniture collections. Find your favorites among a dazzling array of Baroque, Biedermeier, Art Nouveau and Modernist chairs, sofas, cupboards, coat hangers, foot stools and wash basins. No weekend visit would be complete without stopping by a local café on a weekend morning for brunch.
