A fantastic hotel fairly central but a few things let it down, single beds are to small perhaps a small double would be better the rooms are big enough, also a better breakfast menu i.e. more fresh fruit a bigger selection cereals, the plusses excellent coffee at breakfast a smashing rickety elevator hotel quiet and despite beds being on the...

We stayed at the side of the suites and not the main building. We didn't have an elevator and my wife was pregnant so it was a hassle and not a easy thing to do everyday. The room was large and clean with comfortable heat. They probably need to change the mattresses and the pillows. The price doesn't respond to...

Very cosy hotel. Even though it is very old it has all facilities. It is a walking distance from the heart of Vienna making it perfect for a quick stroll to karlsplatz and the rest. Staff were also very friendly and offered keep my luggage even after chekcout.

The room I stayed was great, we had a rooftop view, a nice vintage bathroom, a cozy room. The hotel is great, the location is awesome, and the breakfast is nice. Food for everybody, 10 stars for vegetarian foods. I am going to stay here again in my next trip to Vienna.

I stayed here for a long weekend with my girlfriend at the beginning of December and we were really impressed. The hotel is in a perfect part of town for exploring, our room was clean and comfortable .The breakfast was good and varied and all of the staff were very friendly and helpful. We stayed at Carlton Opera for a week, and found it a great base for our time in Vienna. I'm sure there are plusher places to stay but this was great for the price - £67 a night for 2 including breakfast. Staff were friendly, and we were offered an apartment upgrade for free on arrival (which we declined as...

This was part of an easyjet package deal, and was perfectly adequate - nice comfortable room, decent breakfast. Ten minute walk from the magnificent State Opera House, and all the other city centre attractions. But very close to the interesting Naschmarkt, which is well worth a visit - amazing displays of food from all over the world, and lots of...

The admission was fast and efficient and so were previous contacts for booking. The room size was huge! Plenty of space to move. In our room there was wooden floor and… it was terribly dirty! I wore white socks when I arrived and they turned black in 2 minutes. Honestly! Over all it clearly needs refurbishment and cleaning. The white...

The hotel is near the city centre. In 15 minutes you can reach Stefanplatz by feet. Otherwise you go to the center after two metro stops (two lines and two metro stations are near the hotel - 400 meters). I worked at TU - University of Wien and I walked 10 minutes. Rooms are not new and the style is...

Staying in Wieden

Neighbourhood Profile
Wieden
The fourth district combines elegant tradition with contemporary style and relaxed living.
