This was a lovely hotel. Location was ideal and central. Staff were very helpful and accommodating. Only critism was not enough tables at breakfast Sunday morning at 9 ish. Obviously most popular time! Shops to one side. Cathedral to the other. Perfect. Recommend this hotel and would return

We visited here around Christmas. The staff was incredible - super nice and gave us great recommendations! My only complaint was the room size and lack of AC. Even though it was cold outside, the rooms are a bit hot and stuffy because all rooms lack AC and windows to the outdoors. The bed sheets were super thick, so I...

This place is a real mixed bag. So here's a story. I arrive at midnight following a delayed flight. Vienna is now closed for business ! So having dropped off my bags quickly in the room (more to come on that), I go to reception and ask 'can I get food and drink from somewhere?' The gentleman on reception goes...

Great location as it was walkable to almost everything we wanted to see. For the 3 days we were there, the breakfast in was fine. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Room was clean. Great chocolate store across the street!

When we arrived to the hotel the check-in was very quick. But when we arrived to the room we discovered that the door was open. Took a look inside the room and went down to the reception where we informed them about the situaton and that th floor was not clean. The girl in the reception told us to wait...

I stayed for 2 nights. Great location. I was in a single room, which was the smallest I have ever seen. Bathroom great, but the room itself is really very tiny for this price. Breakfast was great, best coffee I ever had in a hotel.

Location is great of this hotel.Walk away to high street and cathedral. Building and interior is beautiful specially round stairs which are very wide and in lovely red color. Rooms are very basic and no luxury at all but very importantly its very neat and clean every where. Breakfast was nice except no egg station so you have only choice...

I was a little disappointed with this hotel. It is a 5 star and is quite pricy but doesn't feel luxurious at all..... I have stayed in many hotels that are much much nicer. We did book a standard room but it was small, cheaply furnished and there was no view (only an internal stairwell). Also, the towels are small...

Good hotel in very good location. I really like this hotel style. Breakfast is good and everywhere where I walked was clean and nice a little old style feelings. Hotel is small just in center of Vienna.

This hotel offers 2 great things: location is fantastic, the building itself beautiful. The room I got first was really small and not so nice (and dark), but the one I got afterwards (for some additional money), despite still being small, was on one of the top floors and rather "light". Simple, but nice. Staff was a little "complicated" when...

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
