I stayed here on my own in July. Although a little tricky to find initially, the location is great, very central. Close to the Stephensplatz and subway stop. (FYI, the elevator going up to the pension is very tiny!) My room was small (I think...More
Stayed at the Aviano over Easter weekend with my 21 y/o daughter. The hotel is quite nice, a very good deal for the price, our room was just across from the breakfast room, but very quiet, and quite spacious, except for the shower, but you...More
We found this place after looking at the Hotel Guide from the Vienna Tourist Office at the airport (after being stuck in Vienna after the airport closed). We walked in and asked if they have vacancy for the next 2 nights. The impression was excellent...More

In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The
Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
