I think that most people would say this is a fair to good hotel. However, for me, the service provided by the manager, Mr. Fuchs, requires me to give it an Excellent grade. We drove into Vienna on Easter weekend with a rental car and major issues with it since we wanted to keep it and drive to Prague. Renting...

We arrived in Vienna at 11:00 and didn't get to the hotel until 12:00. This is because we found the hotel notoriously difficult to find. Not the hotel's fault at all but Fleischmarkt street is hard to get too because Viennese streets aren't in a straight line. Fair play, we didn't arrive at Schwedenplaz station until 11:30 but what should...

I stayed here in the March with my sister. We had read other reviews concerning the lack of a/c in the rooms, but this was not issue. Breakfast was basic but good. Our room had 2 singles in it and was quite large. Beds were also comfortable. The view was an in your face outlook on the building next door...

The receptionist gave my colleague from Malawi the wrong information about the cost of calls made from the hotel and was charged a significant amount for two phone calls. When we followed up with the manager to discuiss the matter I was shouted at very angrily and rudely for a couple of minutes. The Manager was incredibly unreasonable and did...

For those, who prefer to spend their time outside. The single room was really very small, but clean ane had everything necessary. The bath looked to be newly renovated and very clean. The was no conditioner in the room. The breakfast was just basic, for 2 days it was OK, but I'm not sure whether I could stand it for...

The rooms were comfortable and large. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The hotel is only a block from the metro station and the Danube canal, so an easy base for exploring the city. No A/C, it did get quite hot even with the windows open as they were having a heat wave when we were there.

Quiet centrally located hotel and reasonable price for Vienna. Just don't book the single rooms in the height of summer. I spent 4 days here for a conference, and had planned to do some work in the hotel during the stay. There is no air conditioning in the hotel, the single rooms are tiny and get very hot. Mine was...

The service was good and reception staff were helpful. The room was large and our childrens's triple room was a really big one. The location at Schwedenplatz is excellent. A few minutes walk to the Cathedral. Internet was available. Breakfast was good.
