Very nice little pension/hotel only ten minutes walk from Stephensdom cathedral,so, the heart of the town. There is tram and metro station 5 minutes away. We reserved "family"room, and got almost whole little appartement, consisting of two pretty big bedrooms with queen sized beds, one was bigger with little dining room table and flat tv screen.,bathroom and toilet, separated, the entrance hall with big...

Our room was clean and comfortable with sufficient room not to feel cramped when we came back for an hour during the day. Good buffet breakfast and friendly staff. All the sights in the historic centre are easily reached on foot and there is an underground station about 250m away should you want to leave the centre to visit Schloss...

We were placed in a relatively large room/apartment with two bedrooms. The apartment was very spacious and clean. The toilet was separate from the shower/bath and at opposite ends of the hallway in the apartment. The towels were relatively thin and old. Beds were comfortable enough, although somehow I kept on waking up in the night. The toilet had neither...

This is a good budget hotel, spread over several floors of an apartment block. Very clean and tidy, room was cleaned daily and the shared toilet and shower facilities were maintained to a good standard. Within walking distance to all major landmarks and points of interest in the centre.

This is not what the advertising and the photos led you to believe. We are not complaining, it is was it is, a basic, budget form of accomodation. It seems a little tired and replacement of some carpets and furniture would not seem unwarranted. The staff were helpful and yes the place is central. As a mature couple we would...

The place is in an apartment block, all rooms are small but very old furniture and dirty. The carpets were dirty, the bed was OK, also had tv in room. The breakfast was not great, not much of a selection, some cold hams and bread thar didnt seem to be fresh. It was ok for a night plus it was...

The main advantage is the location. the beds are clean, the space was ok. everything looks run down. To reach the elevator to the reception (on 8th floor) you need to climb stairs (mind your heavy luggage!) Breakfast was included and reflecting the price it was ok.

Was there last week. Very centrally located in Schweiden platz 5 minutes walk from the last Airport bus last stop. Had a spacious room with en-suite toilet/shower on the 7th floor. Very good value for money. No air-condition though, but a fan is provided and the big windows provide a nice breeze if you dont mind the wheel cobble-stone clatter...

In order to enjoy your stay, you should be aware this is a guest house, not a hotel. The accommodation is basic but comfortable with a generous breakfast included. The staff are lovely and the guest house provides the privacy a hostel cannot afford you. Do not be put off by the entrance and enjoy the closeness to the subway,

This is my honest opinion of the pension. I was in there for one night only on the 6th of August (room number 3 in the ground floor). I read so many reviews about it, so I was not expecting much from it. We stayed in a family room with toilet inside the room(two separates rooms, and a separate toilet)....

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
