We stayed in the Freud Apartment for four nights and we found it to be perfect for our holiday in Vienna. The location is great - close to shops, public transport and many restaurants. We were able to easily walk to the Museum district, Belvedere,...More
We stayed in the "Godel" apartment for two nights in the middle of our 2 1/2 week trip. Perfect timing to catch up on our laundry with the great little washing machine, but also to be able to make a dinner in the nicely equipped...More
The Godel is an amazingly spacious and immaculate apartment in a great location close to shops, bars and restaurants. There are trams nearby and the U3 metro is round the corner. It is perfect for visiting all over Vienna but it is only a lovely...More
Very beautiful decor and very comfy bed. Just only a few block to the famous shopping street and a lot of shops and restaurants. The famous museum quartier and museum takes 15-20mins walk. Very close to the subway "U- Neubaug." Only 5 mins walk.
My boyfriend booked us here as a surprise weekend for my 21st in the Freud Suite. The taxi from the airport cost us about €35 and took about 30/40 minutes and the hotel itself is about a 2 minute walk away from the nearest tube...More
Vienna’s art district, Neubau buzzes with galleries, arts and crafts, trendy restaurants, avant-garde shops, and cafés. Neubau’s Spittelberg quarter with cobblestoned Spittelberggasse and Gutenberggasse make for a perfect stroll alongside Biedermeier houses and art shops. Don’t miss the historic courtyard at Amerlinghaus with its typical Pawlatschen galleries, a perfect hangout on a warm summer evening.

Museumsquartier is Neubau’s undisputed highlight: the former Imperial stables house various top museums of 19th to 21st century art. If you love interiors, head for the Imperial Furniture museum (Hofmobiliendepot), one of the world’s largest furniture collections. Find your favorites among a dazzling array of Baroque, Biedermeier, Art Nouveau and Modernist chairs, sofas, cupboards, coat hangers, foot stools and wash basins. No weekend visit would be complete without stopping by a local café on a weekend morning for brunch.
