Was a reasonable price not over fussy but spotlessly clean. The Iranian owned hotel serves a great breakfast included in the price of the room. Reception staff helpful and friendly. Steps away from the city/airport bus stop and only 100 mts from Franz Jossef kia. StephenKirch about 500 mts and great walking tour of around 3-4 hours of the sites...

Spent six days in November. Very good location, three minute walk to tram and subway stop, ten minutes to the cathedral and fifteen to most of the major sights. On a mostly quiet street, though bar across street got loud at closing time on weekend nights. Our room was above average size by European standards, including the bathroom. Could use...

I stayed one night there because my flight was going really early. It was good value, included breakfast (that I could not have, left too early). The rooms are nothing spectacular but they are clean and basic. I was able to walk to the center and enjoy one night in Vienna. I would recommend it.

This quiet little hotel is soo close to the city, night life and central hub of Vienna old city, and a stones throw away from the bus to the international airport. The rooms are spacious, bit tired but well maintained for the money, This is Vienna remember. The breakfast thrown in is basic yet fresh and filling. For a late...

Due to flight delay the airline gave us accommodation here. What a very nice little hotel. Very quiet. Very nice food and great rooms. Perfect for our stay. Lady at reception spoke little english however we managed and it didnt detract from the experience. Memorable stay.

Hotel Marc Aurel is a no-frills hotel in one of the best locations you can find in Vienna. Breakfast was good. Don't rely on them waking you up if you asked for a wake up call as the reception failed to do so. The clerk named Ali claimed it was the equipment's problem but in any event I didn't receive...

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
