Excellent hotel & location, friendly staff . Quiet hotel allowing you to relax from a busy day sightseeing and the rate I suggest is fair for Vienna. Good to have a lift in the hotel saves the old legs. I would recommend this hotel to one and all.

Staff extremely helpful and friendly, nice little bar and very adequate breakfast with terrace. Room was small but immaculately clean and modern with facilities. Great location for the metro, cafes and shops 10 minutes to old centre and other local attractions. Very suitable for holidays and city breaks too.

This was a special trip I had organised for my wife's 60h Birthday, with planned trips to the Schonbrun Dinner and Concert and the tour and Gala display at the Spanish riding school, these being special enough, but what made the long weekend in Vienna was this hotel and the very, very friendly staff, who new how to help you...

Rooms nice and comfortable. Boys enjoyed the outside , large chess set and you can have drinks sent to the deck from the lobby bar. Bathroom size and set up a pleasant surprise. Close to Two train stations so works out well direct from the airport.

We stayed with my family at the hotel. The hotel was situated in a good location close to the subway and was walking distance from the city center and next to the pharmacy and a few shops. Stuff was nice and helpfull. The rooms were comfortable and clean , and traffic didn't disturbed even though we stayed on the first...

we have done a lot of airbnb through Europe on our long European journey but Hotel Wien showed us just what a great hotel experience can provide. In fact we stayed TWICE! The service was impeccable, the rooms were clean and spacious with high ceilings. Our daughter left her teddy on the last night and the staff mailed it to...

This hotel is right around the corner from the Praterstern tram/subway/train station. Convenient for trains or to walk into the city center just across the river. Comfortable hotel with a nice breakfast bar.

One block from Nestroyplatz S-Bahn station (two stops from Stephansplatz). We picked this hotel because of its convenience and good ratings and it didn't disappoint. We also picked it because its parking, with belongs to the hotel but yet costs money. Wonderful and quiet rooms, excellent breakfast, great service and help at reception.

The hotel was nice in in very good place. It takes only 10 minutes to walk to city center and from railway station it was 5 minutes walk to hotel. Railway station has a direct access to airport and the some 30-40 minutes. Near the hotel was many good restaurants and the famous amusement park is also near the hotel.

We picked this hotel because of its convenience and good ratings and it didn't disappoint. We arrived by S-Bahn from the airport and it was just a short 250 m walk to the hotel. The subway into the city was also only about 200 m and in 2 stops we were there. We chose a premium room which is a...

Staying in Leopoldstadt

Neighbourhood Profile
Welcome to one of Vienna’s trendiest quarters. The second district has witnessed a turbulent ride, from medieval swamp to vibrant Jewish quarter, from pleasure ground for the noble and humble to current hip residence and workplace of Vienna’s creative crowd. Cross the Danube Canal from the city centre and take in life on Taborstrasse with its mix of old townhouses, churches, theatres, discount shops and ethnic restaurants. Head for Augarten via Karmelitermarkt, Leopoldstadt’s trendy marketplace. Baroque Augarten itself hosts a bizarre mix of manicured hedges and flowerbeds in front of a colossal World War II defense tower, the publicly accessible 300-year-old Augarten porcelain manufactory, the palatial boarding school and funky concert hall of the Vienna Boys Choir, and the modern art museum TBA21. At its opposite corner, The Prater not only houses the Giant Ferris Wheel but blends a bustling amusement park with lush woodland, perfect for a bike tour. Further east is the old derby racing ground of Krieau.
