We were at the hotel for two nights in Vienna in August. The cleanest hotel I have ever been !!! Excellent breakfast. Relatively small rooms family of 2 +2 Very close to the Prater Park - walking Metro is very close to - there is no need for a car. The most positive experience

We just got back from this remarkable city and the stay at the Austria Classic hotel made our trip an equally pleasant experience. From the reviews we read we were hoping that it would be up to expectations , and they truely did not disappoint. Coming to and from the airport is easy and cheap with the S7. The room...

For the price this hotel was excellent, the breakfast that was included in the price was pretty good. The hotels long corridors, red carpets and age reminds me of the hotel in the shining, to bad I could find a axe to chase around some other guests. Johnny Out!!!!!!!!

Dear Mr. Johnny, or may I call you Jack?! Many thanks for your brilliant review and for making me smile! I am a big fan of the movie “The Shining” and I disagree with you that our carpets could remind any guest of the “Overlook Hotel”. Our carpets in the corridors are red or blue and have a decent pattern....

I stayed here for a 1-week work trip and would highly recommend it to other visitors to Vienna. The hotel itself is comfortable and very conveniently-located: on a major road, near a metro station, accessible to the city center by foot or subway, but far enough removed from the center that you don't have to worry about noise. My biggest...

The hotel is ideally located with easy transfer from airport (by train), town centre is easy walk (or underground). Hotel staff were so helpful and accommodating. Rooms were extremely clean. Breakfast was a little limited, the only thing hot was scrambled egg. Overall great value, would stay again.

We stayed recently with my 17 year old girl five nights at Austria Classic Hotel. I want to thank the staff for the excellent conditions provided and courtesy they gave evidence. The services were just as I expected and the pictures reflect the reality. Breakfast was varied and rich, cleaning every day, free internet access and strong signal. Access to...

I, like others, would say that three stars is a tad low for this hotel. It's extremely comfortable, well maintained and staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfortable accommodation that is excellent value for money.

Austria Classic Hotel Wien classified as a three stars hotel should be a four stars hotel when you compare with others that are officially four. The staff is very helpful and polite. The rooms have a perfect size, and all the needed accommodations are modern and with a great quality, nice decor all around and the breakfast variety and staff...

We stayed here from 16th - 18th June, 2014. It was so easy to get there from the airport! It cost all of 4.20 Euros and the S7 takes you direct to the Prater Station, which is a short walk - 300m at most from the hotel. (The station also has a supermarket which is open later than others in...

Staying in Leopoldstadt

Neighbourhood Profile
Leopoldstadt
Welcome to one of Vienna’s trendiest quarters. The second district has witnessed a turbulent ride, from medieval swamp to vibrant Jewish quarter, from pleasure ground for the noble and humble to current hip residence and workplace of Vienna’s creative crowd. Cross the Danube Canal from the city centre and take in life on Taborstrasse with its mix of old townhouses, churches, theatres, discount shops and ethnic restaurants. Head for Augarten via Karmelitermarkt, Leopoldstadt’s trendy marketplace. Baroque Augarten itself hosts a bizarre mix of manicured hedges and flowerbeds in front of a colossal World War II defense tower, the publicly accessible 300-year-old Augarten porcelain manufactory, the palatial boarding school and funky concert hall of the Vienna Boys Choir, and the modern art museum TBA21. At its opposite corner, The Prater not only houses the Giant Ferris Wheel but blends a bustling amusement park with lush woodland, perfect for a bike tour. Further east is the old derby racing ground of Krieau.
