We are staying at the hotel this week. Came back from dinner tonight to find a big party taking up the entire first floor of the hotel. Loud music and everyone drinking and smoking. As we walked in the front door to go to the elevator, the smoke haze and smell was unbearable. We got into the elevator as fast... More

I and my wife stayed at Le Meridien Vienna from 16th to 19th October 2016 during our vacation. The hotel is certainly the best hotel we have stayed at during our 15 days vacation! The room was really big, very good in terms of all the amenities and decorated with great sense of taste! The staff at the hotel at... More

Le Meridien Vienna is situated within walking distance from just about everything and if not, there is a tram stop right outside. We had a suite for ourselves and 2 children. With an extra bed, we all fit comfortably. Bonus was an extra toilet which always comes in handy when there's 4 in a room. The decor is quirky- bright... More

I spend 3 nights at Le Meridien for business and would defintly come back. The location is very centric, near the Opera House. All personnel is extremely helpful, always attentive to meet your needs and flexible in doing so. The wifi works very well, and the rooms are modern, spacious and with comfortable beds. Breakfast is very nice, high quality... More

For the price, this place is probably the nicest hotel I've stayed at in the EU. It's beautiful! And my room was HUGE - not just by European standards, but by all standards. I had a top floor "mini suite" (not sure it's what they call it, but that's what it felt like) and it exceeded all my expectations. Great... More

The hotel is perfectly located a few hundred yards from the opera house, the museum quarter, the Albertina Museum, the Jewish Museum and the great majority of the attractions in Vienna. The breakfast was sumptuous and delicious, the gym more than adequate, the swimming pool rather small, the bar scene great, the rooms comfortable and good size and the service... More

Great location near public transport and wishing walking distance of a number of attractions and sights. Very pleased with the room and the bedding was exceptional. The room (544) had a walk-in shower and a bath. Lots of room and good furniture. The room felt solid and was quiet, even though one night there was a big fashion event at... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
