For folks wanting to spend a night in a central location in Vienna, without any frills or serious comfort, I would recommend this place. The rooms are clean and the beds are good. Not much more we could ask for a 1 night stay, with a plane to catch in the morning. The management was super friendly and helpful, and...

The management turned our stay into a good experience, after spending the first night in a room direct at the street with lots of noise, where we transferred into a quiet room with AC and separate second room for third person. Breakfast is from good variety and staff very helpful and accomodating. Would book it again.

Great price and good location. Rooms clean and staff friendly. Good shower and aircon. On the downside curtain let in light, wifi in room didn't work, door lock was temperemental and no english channels on TV. Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, close to station and right by tram stop. Bed was very comfortable. Despite a few niggles would stay...

Positives: The location is very very good. This is a huge plus. You are 1 Metro Station away from the first main attractions and you have all you need around the hotel. It is still in the first inner circle of the city ! Negatives: Staff attitude (male staff attitude) was a fair to poor. At one point I even...

Very cheap hotel but they do their best to please you.. Accommodation is what you get for the money you paid 😝Cleaning ladies are great,so you don't have to teach them their job.. Location was the best!!! 10min walk from everything you would like to visit! Garage was expensive and small but it's good to know it's safe😊

When you arrive in Vienna after more than 11 hours on the road, what you need is a comfortable hotel with a good bathroom. Kaffeemuhle is this. A very comfortable bed and a modern shower room. Friendly and helpful staff make this a hotel that's hard to beat. Add to that the fact that it was only 150 metres from...

The hotel was clean and the rooms were very warm. This is a non smoking hotel but i had no problem to smoke outside. The personal was very helpful and nice. I recommend because it's close to the tram and the subway and the center of the city.

Very clean hotel, comfortable bed and very helpful receptionist. Great location - close to the shopping street Mariahilfer- a lot of bars and restaurants very close to the hotel. They have a excellent breakfast buffet at a reasonable price. Parking beside the hotel, with direct access to the lobby and rooms.

Staying in Neubau

Neighbourhood Profile
Vienna’s art district, Neubau buzzes with galleries, arts and crafts, trendy restaurants, avant-garde shops, and cafés. Neubau’s Spittelberg quarter with cobblestoned Spittelberggasse and Gutenberggasse make for a perfect stroll alongside Biedermeier houses and art shops. Don’t miss the historic courtyard at Amerlinghaus with its typical Pawlatschen galleries, a perfect hangout on a warm summer evening. Museumsquartier is Neubau’s undisputed highlight: the former Imperial stables house various top museums of 19th to 21st century art. If you love interiors, head for the Imperial Furniture museum (Hofmobiliendepot), one of the world’s largest furniture collections. Find your favorites among a dazzling array of Baroque, Biedermeier, Art Nouveau and Modernist chairs, sofas, cupboards, coat hangers, foot stools and wash basins. No weekend visit would be complete without stopping by a local café on a weekend morning for brunch.
