Stayed here when visiting Vienna for a football match (Vienna is a great city). The hotel is clean, the rooms include all the essentials and the staff are friendly. The staircase up to the rooms is a little dated and you need to use a side door to get in late at night. Overall this hotel is fine, good value... More

Walking distance to main attractions, we went to Spanish Riding school only 20 minute walk though lovely areas, rooms have no air con but we had a fan . Breakfast was good. Restaurants close by, public transport easy to access , we bought a 2 day Vienna Pass , which was great value.

A friend and I stayed at this hotel for five nights as we were attending a conference at the University of Vienna. The hotel was perfect for our needs: firstly, the room itself was clean and spacious, with a shower and separate toilet. It had some charm to it, too; a chandelier, some quirky furniture and paintings- giving us a... More

My family and I, two adults and two children, stayed here for 6 nights. My husband came here to attend the conference ICLA. We had a great time during our stay. The staff are very friendly. Very welcoming reception and friendly staff. the hotel is not down town (old city) - its on the outskirts. it took me time to get used to the layout of the hotel - separate entrance for after 9pm with keys to main entrance and another entrance leading to the rooms. the hotel decor is classic with rustic feel, bed is... Dear Guest, Thank you very much for giving us your feedback. Yes, the reception of our Hotel Pension Bleckmann is only opened until 9pm so after that time our guests have to use the night entrance. The layout is due to the historical building which is situated just a few minutes stroll from the famous ring street. Thank you for... More

No frills. This place is very old, but we found everything clean. The room was fine, but there was an overpowering smell of curry that struck me as odd, and we definitely didn't like whatever was going on with that. Otherwise, it was a good experience. The staff was super friendly and we were able to ditch our car for... More

Dear Guest, Thank you very much for your comment. We are glad that you appreciate our location and our concept of offering a basic alternative in the city centre. Unfortunately sometimes the central location can come with a drawback. We have several restaurants close by which is a benefit most of the times apart from our neighbour who sometimes forgets... “The rooms in the front face the street, which is busy and noisy at night. There are triple pane windows which eliminate the noise, but also eliminate air! The hotel website says that the front facing rooms have some sort of air circulation system, but we kept the windows open and it was pretty noisy. On a subsequent stay we had a room in the back...no view but no noise. I'd recommend a room in the back.”
