Very friendly and welcoming staff, they even offered us to print our flight tickets for free, also we arrived early and they checked us in early with no extra charge. Location very convenient, the tram 49 stop was 5 sec away from the hotel and takes you to the center easily and quickly (10 min?). Also the hotel is very...

The pension is very close to the center of Vienna (10 min walking) and to many bus/tram/metro stops. The staff (all young men) is kind and more than willing to help you with many information about public transport, museums, important sites and tours. Also if I didn't arrive during the check-in time, they allowed me to register, leave the luggage,...

We actually booked another bnb but was re-booked into this hotel last minute by the bnb's owner as they were still renovating their place. However, to our surprise this hotel was actually quite cosy and near to the shopping sites. The hosts in Pension Walzerstadt were really helpful and attentive to our requests (and quite good looking, hmm~~). Thank you...

Location was good, close to public transportation and some sights. Lots of supermarkets and restaurants nearby. Staff were friendly and helpful. I was about to leave to head to a laundromat when the man at the front desk noticed and told me they have laundry service for €8 which was cheaper than the place down the street. The room was...

We mainly picked the place for its convenient location, about 15min walk from Westbahnhof, which connects via Metro to the rest of the city, via busses and trains to the rest of Austria and also has shuttle busses running to the airport. There is a tram passing right at the hotel, which also connects to the train station. The room...

We stayed 2 nights during a short visit to Vienna. The room faced into the courtyard and was quiet. Great for sleeping. The breakfast was extra and was well worth the price. Tram 49 stopped at the corner and was a quick trip into the main tourist area of Vienna. Travel to/from the Haupt Banhoff (main train station) was easy....

I stayed in this hotel last month for 5 days and I can say that if I come back again one day to Vienna, I will for sure choose this hotel, for several reasons: First and foremost, the staff were so much supportive and helpful, and their support eased my stay in Vienna, from finding my way in a city...

Nice place in a strategic position next to the metro station. The receptionist is very kind. Rooms are a little bit old fashioned but big and clean. Prices are low, breakfast is not included but it appeared as good as the rest. I will come back next time I will be in Vienna

Staying in Neubau

Neighbourhood Profile
Vienna’s art district, Neubau buzzes with galleries, arts and crafts, trendy restaurants, avant-garde shops, and cafés. Neubau’s Spittelberg quarter with cobblestoned Spittelberggasse and Gutenberggasse make for a perfect stroll alongside Biedermeier houses and art shops. Don’t miss the historic courtyard at Amerlinghaus with its typical Pawlatschen galleries, a perfect hangout on a warm summer evening. Museumsquartier is Neubau’s undisputed highlight: the former Imperial stables house various top museums of 19th to 21st century art. If you love interiors, head for the Imperial Furniture museum (Hofmobiliendepot), one of the world’s largest furniture collections. Find your favorites among a dazzling array of Baroque, Biedermeier, Art Nouveau and Modernist chairs, sofas, cupboards, coat hangers, foot stools and wash basins. No weekend visit would be complete without stopping by a local café on a weekend morning for brunch.
