Not an elegant hotel. Clean. Nice neighborhood. Functional. A.c. doesn't really meet American standards. 10 euro ride from downtown. Beds are comfortable. Nice bath layout. Tv and multiple plugs for all your electronics. Free WiFi. Not much of an entrance lobby....modest hotel.

The hotel looks unassuming from outside but it was decorated with a muted elegance. Service was polite and efficient. Rooms were clean and functional. Breakfast was a good treat and I like the quality of their food.

The staff was very professional and friendly. Everything was proper and clean. Breakfast was optional and very tasty with a great choice for a picky eater O:). The hotel has a garden at the back, which is nice in a sunny weather. The room was spacious and had beautiful views on the rooftops of Vienna. Whole hotel was a very...

Strong recommendation for business people attending conferences in Palais Lichtenstein, it's a 5 minute walk. Friendly staff, good breakfast buffet and comfortable bedroom. Furthermore a parking garage is available. For tourists limited recommendation due to location outside the city centre.

Definitely would retrun! It was FREEZING in Vienna when we visited but the Hotel was always lovely and warm (not too hot either though). Large rooms and extremely comfy beds, also very clean. Superb breakfast and of course viennese coffee also delicious! We had a little explore of the old 'palais' too - now a conference centre but you can...

Beautiful but modern hotel close to Lichtenstein Park and Palace. Public transport connections are a little bit far from here, no underground stations in the neighborhood. Parking in the hotel's garage costs 18 euros per night, no free parking possiblities in the street. Double room for 1 person costs 74 euros with breakfast. Nicely furbished, cosy room and bathroom with...

This hotel is just outside the city centre but easily walkable to central locations. Just across the road you can get a tram to some parts of the centre or a little further takes you to one of the underground/subway stations. The hotel was perfectly clean and the room was fine. Breakfast and the breakfast room was fine too. We...

Staying in Serviten Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
Serviten Quarter
The Serviten Quarter is an inner city neighbourhood with many private charms. Popular with French and American expats, Sigmund Freud’s neighbourhood boasts his former practice and apartments, now turned into a museum. Stunning Liechtenstein Garden Palace houses the private art collection of Prince Adam of Liechtenstein. Romantic Strudlhofstiege close to the palace is a fantastic photo spot. With their small independent shops and eateries, the main streets of Liechtensteinstrasse, Porzellangasse and Servitengasse reveal much of this area’s character. Peek into baroque Serviten Church, with its richly decorated dome and walls. At the Old Jewish cemetery in Seegasse you can see one of the most precious cemeteries in Europe with tombstones almost 500 years old.
