The Ring - Relais & Châteaux is one of Vienna's most hip City- and Lifestyle hotels. Since its opening in November 2007 it pampers its guests with outstanding comfort and casual luxury in every detail. You find the hotel best located, in the middle of the centre of Vienna, the famous art-, culture and shopping mile Wiener Ringstraße in front of the door. At Kärntner Ring number 8 the historic façade has been lovingly renovated. Inside guests are welcomed by a modern, straight and nevertheless sensual interior. New elements were merged with old ones - for example the 100-year old elevator and the plastered walls of the "Ring Suite", combined with modern design. The Ring, Vienna's Casual Luxury Hotel, has 68 rooms and suites available, all luxuriously equipped and made of an inspiring mix of contemporary and classic design. Guests can choose between Casual-, Special, and X-ordinary rooms, as well as Cosmopolitan suites or the unique Ring Suite. The innovative illumination concept and the exquisitely made bathrooms complete the extensive feeling of living. The concept of warm brown and beige colors, refreshing pistachio and fiery red makes the hotel an amazing place. At the stylish hotelbar "Drings" by Le Zefire guests can expect the atmosphere of a French Club, great drinks, international music and cool people. On a regular basis live DJs will be contributing to the party feeling. The restaurant "at eight" is located on the ground floor and pampers the guests with outstanding international, toque winning seasonal aroma cuisine. Apart from the cuisine awarded with two toques, the innovative design concept impresses the guests. "Dressing up for the evening" - the restaurant at eight changes its clothes every afternoon and suits up to be the perfect evening restaurant for its guests. At The Ring Day Spa guests can shake off their stress from all-day life. The Spa, located on the 7th floor, offers an amazing view over the rooftops of Vienna. A fitness area with most modern training equipment and entertainment centre is available for the guests. Fresh fruit and water are on disposal for free. Changing rooms, safe deposit boxes, shower rooms and towels are available on location. For guests of the hotel, the fitness area is opened around the clock. The demanding criteria of the prestigious international Green Globe label confirm the green stance of The Ring, Vienna's Casual Luxury Hotel on sustainable tourism in all of its establishments. Green Globe is an internationally recognized certification program designed for the travel and luxury tourism industry. Its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) standards are applicable to several types of structures such as resorts, spas and casinos.

In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.

Had a great experience staying at The Ring last weekend and would highly recommend. Friendly and efficient service, a very spacious bedroom with separate toilet and bathroom and the icing on the cake was the amazing steam room and sauna with a window overlooking the whole city.

There were four people staying in this room, two adults and two kids and we thoroughly enjoyed clean, updated and large room. Our room was in the interior area and looked into the middle of the hotel. Although many people enjoy an exterior room, this room was quiet and free

Dear Ised, thank you for taking the time and posting this elaborate feedback here on TripAdvisor. We truly regret that we could not meet your high standards and therefore would like to excuse for any inconvenience. We feel sorry that the "Do not disturb" sign was missing, but we would have been very happy to replace it if you had told us during your stay. We chose our toiletries with awareness. In times of things being wasted and thrown away constantly, we picked the smallest possible container for our soap, shampoo and body lotion and we are happy to provide more if requested. Conditioner is already inside the shampoo. Please let us know the room number you have stayed at so we can replace the matress and improve and repair the furniture your mentioned. We would love to welcome you back the other day to show you our improvement. Best regards, Andreas Schebrek Front Office Manager

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights visiting the Christmas markets. The location is perfect, walking distance to everything with ease. Tasty breakfast spread, lots of choice and caters for all diets. The room was lovely, spacious, clean, comfortable and away from any city noise.

how would I get to airport for an international 10:00am flight?
Good morning Cecilia, thank you for your message. The most convenient way to get to the airport is a taxi or a limousine transfer, which takes around 25 minutes and costs €45 - €50. and can be arranged with the reception desk. A cheaper way is the metro and the city airport train, which takes around 40 minutes. Please let me know if there is anything else I can do for you. Kind regards, Andreas Schebrek Front Office Manager

Dear Richard, thank you for your question. Unfortunately we are not able to put an extra bed into a Standard Room. The next higher room category, the so called X-Ordinary rooms, even come with a sofabed if you wish so. Children up to twelve years are free of charge in an extra bed, above that age it's €88,- per night. Please let me know if we can assist you with your booking or if you have got any other questions. Best regards, Andreas Schebrek Front Office Manager
