The hotel is located in a Jugendstil house from the 19. Century in close proximity to the Botanical Gardens and the famous Belvedere Palace with its magnificent Barock garden. The city center, with some of Viennas most well known sights such as the state opera, the Burgtheater, museums, concert houses and the Ringstrasse, one of the most beautiful streets in the world, is reachable by foot in only 15 minutes. Every morning an extensive breakfast buffet awaits you in our comfortable Jugenstil breakfast room.
I had a room which did not have proper bathroom, rather a cupboard-like arrangement of a shower and a basin of at least 30 years. The bed was very uncomfortable even for one night. KuK kitsch all over the place mixed with some more modern furniture (obviously rearranged from other places)!! The landlady was very unfriendly, made cynical comments, and pushed to finish breakfast even though the breakfast time was not over, there was nobody else, just us to talk and drink our coffee.

Nice, stylish, old-fashion or retro design - almost "last century", like our grandmother :-). Very kind services, good homemade kitchen/breakfast. Perfect place for Belveder, main trainstation or centrum.

I spent a wonderful time here. The atmospher is like at home! Every thing was very good, a room and brekfast. And the last day a brekdast was prepared specially for me, because my train was earlier than breakfast time.

We stayed in Wien for New Years Eve and our stay in Hotel Pension Bosch was fantastic. Barbara makes you feel at home! And it is very well situated to visit the city by foot or using the public transport.

When I looked for a hotel I thought of those which situated near Belvedere Palace in Vienna. I had not other requirements / wishes / wants about hotels as I knew all they were more or less the same (withing a definite range of prices). To my surprise the hotel I'd chosen appeared to be an old-fashioned and surprisingly cosy one with the feel of 19th century and with pictures on the walls, table lamps with lamp-shades and chestnut colour massive wardrobes. The hotel's landlady, Frau Barbara, was very kind. In the morning she personally served tea or coffee in pretty tea or coffee pots. It gave a feeling of home. Love it!

The stay was perfect. Everything from the cleanness of the room to the dinning room and breakfast. The landlord is a lovely and gentle wiener, she made my stay even more pleasant. Thank you so much! I do recommend this place for those who would like to visit museums while stay for a more than reasonable price.

Our room was large by Euoropean standards. It was nice not staying in a "modern" setting. We had all the modern conveniences but the ambiance was from an era long ago. I really enjoyed breakfast, lingering over a good cup of coffee. Our hostess was friendly and answered our questions about sight seeing and helped us find the best ways to walk to our destination(s). We did walk over 10 k on our second day there.

Pension Bosch offers you the wonderful opportunity to get a glimpse into life of 'old' Vienna. The pension is in a typical Viennese apartment block. The rooms are simple but very quiet and cosy with old beautiful patterned floorboards. The breakfast served by the charming elderly Mrs Bosch or her daughter is very nice and plentiful.Mrs Bosch and her daughter are very helpful in explaining the surroundings and the public transport system. The pension is within walking distance from the train and tram station. I will stay there again when back in Vienna.
