On planning our itinerary we decided we needed to overnight in Vienna and our brief stay at the Opera Suites in Vienna became a surprise highlight. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room had every creature comfort - spectacularly comfortable beds and crisp linen, a small coffee table adorned with fresh fruit, sofa and small kitchen - complete...

We stayed at new apartments on Walfishgasse, just around the corner from the main office. Our apartment was on the 7th floor. It has a good sized living room with sleeping sofa, dinning table and a small kitchen that has everything. One large bathroom off the hallway. On the opposite side a door opens to one large bedroom with beds...

Opera Suites I would recommend to anyone who is looking for something different.  Our stay was marred by the fact that I arrived  very sick, within an hour they had a doctor in my room even though it was a Saturday. Our room was very spacious ,facing the front,, with a settee , desk, table and two chairs. We were...

This was a great find. Located right in the center of Vienna, on the fanciest of shopping streets, this charming, older hotel is a gem. There is some construction going on out front so one does need to look carefully for the entrance sign. The room I had was very clean, and the bathroom was wonderful - not something one...

Opera Suites greatly exceeded my expectations. Based on the excellent location (right across the street from Hotel Sacher) and reasonable price, I expected to have maybe a less than comfortable bed, maybe everything not quite in working order. But it was perfectly clean, modern and my room (115) was amazingly quiet, the window opening onto a courtyard instead of onto...

We were a bit apprehensive with the entrance and the elevator, but the room was lovely, with a very comfy bed, modern bathroom, gracious staff and in room breakfast. Their location in the city center was perfect with museums, shops, trams, and underground and more only a short walk away. Would definitely stay there again, Thank you to the staff...

We had the most delightful room 112 facing Kartner Strasse. We could stand in the bow window and see the Statsopera and down the street towards Stephansplatz. The hostesses were so helpful, they stored a bag for us while we left Wien for Salzburg and had it waiting in our room when we got back. This location was amazingly close...

My first impression was that this hotel should be a 3 star one not 4. But due to location, staff, good breakfast and room size (family suite for 4) we are fine with it. Easy to reach most of the Vienna's attractions. Quite location with parking places around.

The staff is very professional and helpful and is very knowledgeable about local restaurants and things to do. The location is excellent. Would definitely stay here again during our next visit to Vienna. We also have been recommending this wonderful hotel to our family and friends.

If you expect a big swanky reception area, this isnt for you, but it has several things going for it. Great location right on Karntnerstrasse, taxi stand and metro seconds away, atmospheric furnishings redolent of an old Viennese apartment (which the building otherwise would be), nice staff, and not least, free wi-fi. Also it is very discreet. Reception closes at...

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
