Basic hotel with all that is needed and no frills, reasonable price. Staff very very friendly and always ready to help with tips and suggestions. Waffles and coffee/tea free of charge, a welcome touch in this expensive country!

Our trip to Tromsø was to visit our daughter and husband whose apartment was a block away. This apartment was very comfortable for a five day stay. Our fully equipped kitchen made it possible to get breakfast food and snacks, thus saving a little money and being very convenient. The staff was very helpful. Our apartment was on the daylight...

Arrived quite late but received a good welcome. The parking is not that close (about 300m) which made for an interesting walk back to the hotel in the snow and ice. Hotel does no evening meals but coffee was available. Room a bit noisy. Breakfast is NOT free and very continental. Good for a night before moving on.

We visited in March hoping to catch a glimpse of the northern lights. As the trip was for your birthdays, we were given a free upgrade from a studio apartment to a 1 bedroom apartment. The apartment was clean and spacious in a good central location and within walking distance of most sights and attractions. Staff were friendly and accommodating.

We have had a great stay at the Viking Apartments in Tromso. We arrived by taxi from the airport, the guy knew exactly where to bring us, no address details were required. It was about £20 which compares favourably to the £20 RETURN the airport shuttle coach would have cost. The Viking hotel reception is in the middle of this...

Tromso was the last trip on our annual holiday to Norway in 2016 and we spent some of the best days above the arctic circle in Tromso. We were there for December 31st and what a celebration it was considering the cold weather! Note : This review is for the Viking Apartments - not the hotel! Whats nice : The...

Asking the front desk, who said no one is above our room. Then I checkout myself. They are doing building work. Very very annoying building work in the room above us. Also cannot guarantee they won't do refurbishment tomorrow. Very frustrating. Very very service.

Very friendly hotel close to all main sites for Tromso. Fairly priced compared to other options, very quiet and an excellent breakfast. Comfortable rooms - great bed and shower with some nice extras, free hot drinks and waffles in reception. Would definitely stay again - friendly staff too.

We stayed in a one bedroom apartment. It was spacious, clean and well equipped. The building is older but the interiors look to have been renovated in the past few years. The apartment we stayed in had a washing machine but no dishwasher, which was perfect for us. I understand that other apartments are differently equipped. The location is excellent,...
