Traveled with a large group so maybe we just got the short end of the straw on room choice. Our room was very clean and new looking, but barely large enough to open both suitcases without having to crawl over the bed to get around. Nice sized bathroom - view looked out on ugly roof top but at least window...

Thank you for your kind and valuable feedback. I am sorry that we did not meet your expectations regarding room size - as most of our competitor- and sisterhotels we have rooms with different sizes and views. I am glad the other part of the stay were satisfying. Have a nice summer!

Modern and trendy hotel. Great location and excellent breakfast. Got a room on the top floor, with a awesome view of the city. Pretty much all of the Oslo hot spots are within walking distance. They also offered free parking in July.

The hotel is located just outside the city center on walking distantie though. Friendly staff and great breakfast buffet. The nearby Mathallen are fun to walk around and provide nice places to eat out. Parking is nearby at a reasonable price.

The rooms are small but well appointed and the art work throughout the hotel is modern and eye catching. The breakfast was bountiful. The front desk was very helpful, for which we were especially grateful. There is also a terrific market with small restaurants nearby.

I was so impressed with this place. You know how sometimes a hotels website photos can sometimes not look like the read deal when you do an image search? Sometimes its like night and day! Scandic is not that at all! It looks exactly like the website and the site is really good looking! Our room was so clean, the...

It's near the city center (15 minutes' walk), rooms are a little small (specially the bathroom) but still comfortable. Breakfast is awesome, they even offer salmon! The entrance might be a little bit confusing, since it's on the 4th floor, and there is another way out through the 1st floor (you get used to that once you are in Oslo!)

Just back from an enjoyable 2 night stay in Oslo. Hotel was great. I must admit I was a little worried about the location being a little outside town but how wrong I was. Firstly, Grunerlokka is a wonderful suburb - café living with loads of trendy bars, cafés and restaurants to chose from, all less than 5 mins walk...

Reasonably well priced, easy walk to downtown, but even better, right next to Mathallen and Grünerløkka. It really felt like the perfect place to stay-a great value in a nice part of town. Room along street was slightly noisy to my recollection, but not a deal breaker by any stretch. This would be my choice if staying in Oslo again.

Clean, comfortable rooms. Great big bathrooms. Ironing board in room. Basic room do not have desks, but the market out the back has lots of space to sit and work should you need it. Perfect location next to river will lead to many an afternoon meander. Gym is small but has standing cable machine. Hotel desk worked hard to make...
