We got a good price, considering how pricey Norway is, via Booking.com. The location is good, with trams and buses. Staff were friendly and helpful and gave us a refund following problems with our Oslo pass. Breakfast was excellent. However the room, although spacious and comfortable, was overheated with no way to adjust the temperature and illumination levels, like so...

I stay at this hotel almost every week for 3 nights each week and I have been doing so for some years and will continue to do so. I always get a nice quiet room at the back of the hotel and ALL the STAFF are absolutely fantastic, not only with me as a regular but also with all the...

Service wasn't great, breakfast items unavailable, some areas not clean etc. At least understaffed during weekends. People were friendly, but due to (needed) renovation things were not in good order..

My sister and I were in Oslo over Christmas (side note: unless you have family in Oslo, I wouldn't recommend ever going there for the holidays - everything was closed!), and booked the Scandic Solli a couple of months in advance. It was very cheap for the location and great breakfast. The rooms are quite small, though we did book...

We arrived in Oslo on 30th Dec to celebrate NYE. I went with my husband and 15 year old twin daughters. Our room was on the 2nd floor. It was clean and warm with underfloor heating in the bathroom. We had an iron and ironing board in the room as well as a hairdryer. The staff were very friendly and helpful....

Like most Scandic hotels this is a clean one. It has a prime location with walking distance to Aker Brygge. It is a good hotel, no doubt about that but the reason for the three stars (and not four) is that the hotel falls short on several things which might be small, but still is annoying. - no bath rug...

Thank you very much for your review. We will change the iron in the ironing room. That shoul of course be of good quality. We have irons in our superior rooms, and an upgrade is possible for the cost of NOK 200,-. The floor in the second floor was wet because we were cleaning the carpet. We will look into...

I've stayed in the Scandinavian chain before and they are functional hotels. There are no frills and I have no issue with that as you get a clean and comfortable room. My only umbrage is that there are no tea and coffee making facilities in the room. You have to go to reception.

My wife and I stayed over at this well known hotel at Solli plass in Oslo this week. The personnel at the reception welcome us as expected of a Scandinavian hotel 😎 The room we got was small but OK and as we expected too based on the room cost. This hotel is located near the city centre of Oslo....
