Mainly it was Excellent. Hotel location it's excellent and the external environment also it's also very nice. Shops and Subway are around the corner. Hotel staff and service are amazing. I have nothing to complain, just good things to say about my stay.
This is primarily a business hotel. Apparently, to cut costs, staffing was reduced, so a times there is no one on the front desk. They were also completing renovations, so there was a fire alarm and we had to change rooms as electrical work had to be done in the area of our original room. Breakfast is also somewhat more limited. The hotel is in a good location, but it still needs a lot of improvement.
Only 15 min with subway from Oslo central station. Good rooms, conference facilities, breakfast buffet and location. Helpful service, even if the bar personnel obviously didn’t understand norweigan/swedish well enough. Instead of asking when they didn’t understand, they guessed and ended up not doing what they were asked to do, but no big thing.
I stayed in this hotel on business and was pleasantly surprised at how large the room was. The bed was extremely comfortable with fluffy comforters. There were two large nightstands and a work desk, as well as a larger chair with a side table. There was plenty of room to walk around. There was also a refrigerator, an iron with an ironing board and a safe. There was sufficient space for clothing in shelves and on hangers. There were 2 full-length mirrors. The bathroom had one sink, but the room was a fine size, at least for one person at a time, and the shower was more than big enough. There was a hairdryer and several amenities for the shower as well as a little vanity kit, shower cap and shoe shine pad. Breakfast has the usual offerings: some hot items such as eggs, sausages, tomatoes and potatoes as well as lots of breads, lunch meats/cheeses, vegetables, fish, yogurts, drinks and more. One may also order breakfast prepared a certain way and one may order breakfast to the room. There was ample seating. The dinner menu looked great, though I didn’t have the opportunity to eat there. The lobby has a fireplace with large chairs. They had a little table from which they served fruit, cookies, candy and water. The hotel is conveniently located directly next to the underground station and there is a large shopping mall a five-minute walk away. I enjoyed my stay and can recommend this hotel.…
upon arrival to this hotel around midnight after many hours on planes and airports, I was told that because of the unexpected flooding at the hotel, the only room they could offer was one without a shower! as I wasn't offered an alternative hotel accommodation, it was too late for me to look for another hotel, so I accepted. staff also said that they would provide me a room with a shower in the morning, when other customers start checking out--this was never done. at checkout, the hotel promised to refund me the stay, which I am still waiting to happen. so far I've been charged around 250 GBP, and as apology--offered Radisson points worth quarter of that amount. Refund hasn't arrived yet (which I am still hoping to get). Most disappointing was the personnel attitude. when I was checking out, the reception lady said that she cannot authorise this and needs to speak to her manager, who was in a meeting and not available at the time of check out. Afterwards, after multiple emails to the hotel, my emails are not being replied to, my requests for a call back never been fulfilled. Frankly, I was appalled not so much as to get a room with no shower from Radisson, but the experiences with staff at this hotel. absolutely shocking! …
