I stayed at a shared room for two people. The room was very small. The beds got done almost every day but the floor was not cleaned. We shared showers on the corridor but there were by far not enough of them and they were not very clean either. But I guess it is fine as a budget option. The... More

As part of a 5100 mile motorcycle charity challenge to circumnavigate the Baltic Sea, this place was chosen as an overnight stop for 6 bikers after a day in the saddle. The accommodation was a little on the cramped side, the fact we had a lot of motorcycle gear didn’t help either. Between the 6 of us we had 2... More

If you are looking for a cheap one-night stay this will be your first choice. Friendly staff, clean restrooms and showers, plentiful breakfast all for a cheap price! It only takes a 10 minutes walk to the center to see the wonderful city Recommended for one-night stays of people on a budget

This hotel came as a complete surprise. I was expecting hostel like accommodation but instead we stayed in this beautiful wooden classically built hotel. The rooms and beds were comfortable and the share bathroom did not seem to ever have anyone else in it. It was centrally located and we were able to take our hire car into the town... More

Even if I lived In Trondheim for three years as a student, I never really got to know this part of the city. Singsaker is absolutely the most romantic side of Trondheim. That's why the localisation of the hotel is perfect. Not far for the city center and the gothic-style cathedral, you can make a short walk over the bridge... More

If you visit Trondheim during the students' vacation, this is the place to book for a couple of nights. For more nights I would consider a place with better beds. But Singsaker Sommerhotell is something quite unique in this expensive country. The old, wooden building is beatiful, the rooms are clean and plain in a good way. We shared a... More

4/5 rating reflects expectations met for price paid. Got a bed and breakfast-deal for three people for one night for 900 kroner. Basic, clean room, with washbasin and cofortable beds. Shared bathroom and toilet. Good breakfast. This is an exceptionally good deal for such a near downtown location. Definetly not luxurious, but a good nights slep before moving onwards northwards.

Very Good for its price. Close to city centre. You can walk anywhere around. Quiet, clean and friendly reception. We stayed there 2 nights and had no problem. It is used as a dorm in winter time. So it works only in summer

The dormitory room is pretty big but there is 12 beds! So if you come in the middle season it's might be not so comfortable, not talking about the one toilet and the one shower for all the dormitory (both men and women). The location is nice, about 10 minutes to the center. The breakfast is basic but nice. This... More

Relive a little bit of World War II history in this beautiful huge wooden building built by the Germans as an officer casino/hotel during their occupation of Norway. In 1946 it was turned into a student residence. (Open as a hotel only during summer months.) Building overlooks the city of Trondheim and is close to Trondheim's historic fortress.
