This Hotel is next to a Hospital. But it was fine for me as i was back only to sleep & have breakfast. Its a value for money, considering how expensive Norway & specially Bergen can be. Its a little walk from the nearby bus-stand but i enjoyed it. Stayed 2 nights here. It was peaceful and a quite environment....

This is a hotel located at the hospital area, which means that there are a lot of patients staying here. Both pre and post surgical patients. This is not a place to stay if you are looking for a romantic / fun getaway, this is the place to stay if you are a hospital patient. The rooms are actually very...

First of all, if u read reviews u know its next to a hospital. Which was fine for us. Considering the fact how FREAKING expensive Norway is, this is an excellent place for the price, the room and the service. Rooms very well cleaned. Amazing amazing breakfast! And yes GPS, itself to it if ur lazy. I used a regular...

Although it is a sick hotel, we stayed there as tourist as in any other hotel, just wondering why doors were that big, there were a few wheelchairs in the corridors or an emergency caller in the room and bathroom. We booked this place without knowing it condition, but it was fine, in fact we see only other tourists there....

The hotel is located a bit off. You have to walk 10 minutes to the bus stop for a 10-15 min bus ride into town. Several of the bed clothes we were given had holes in them, and the double bed was even made with two single bed sheets! Somewhat bad information of the breakfast schedules. We arrived on a...

We booked the hotel because it was one of the more reasonable ones in Bergen. Then we came to know that this hotel is used by patients and their relatives from the attached Haukeland hospital. So, our expectations were pretty much low. But once we arrived, our apprehensions disappeared, The hotel is located a bit uphill and away from the...

Had thyroidectomy at haukeland university hospital (haukelanduniversitet sykehus) and had to stay there before and after surgery. It's called in english sick hotel simply because it's meant for patients and patients' family. Breakfast was good. No hairdryer in rooms.

We booked this hotel through Bergen Tourist Info (the one by the main harbor): never contact tourist info in Norway again (!!!) We specified right from the beginning that we are by car - so instead they sold us this hotel with no parking (and they never told us!!!); in the tourist info they also told us there would be...

This hotel is located away from the city center in a quiet residential area on the grounds of the university hospital complex. It is easy to find with a GPS in the car, but a challenge for someone arriving with public transportation, as it is quite an uphill walk from the nearest bus stop. Geared to serve hospital patients and...
