Nice hotel in a nice location near the heart of Bergen, Norway. The staff was friendly, breakfast in the morning was good (buffet style breakfast included) and the price was not bad for the room. The room is a bit small but adequate. The only thing I didn't like so much was that there was not a good English TV...

This hotel is in a great part of downtown Bergen and a quick walk from the train station - no taxi necessary. I found the hotel clean and the rooms a normal size relative to other hotels I stayed in while in Scandinavia. Despite the positives above I found this hotel extremely disappointing and almost gave this hotel two stars....

Breakfast was one of the best we have seen at a hotel. Three or four varieties of eggs. A variety of real smoked ham, sausage, meats & fish. A few minutes walk in any direction brings you to historic & artistic spots. wifi a bit slow in our room. Very clean & comfortable.

I stayed here for one night while traveling solo around Norway in late September. The hotel and room were clean and the service was fantastic. There was some construction going on right across the street but it didn't have much of an effect. The location and price were my main consideration when booking and the hotel is reasonably priced and...

We spent two nights here and were impressed by the hotel and staff. We had an upgraded room which was furnished in Nordic modern style with two leather chairs with footstools, coffee table, a desk and chair. There was a kettle with tea and coffee making items, an iron and ironing board, hairdryer, in room safe, comfortable beds and pillows....

We stayed at the hotel at the end of August. The room we have was too small for our family. The breakfast was reach and tasty. No parking at the hotel and we parked near by 5 min walk from the hotel. The staff was helpful but not frindly

Among the seven hotels I visited so far in Norway this was the smallest room . The hotel has no parking lot and parking needs a good portion of luck or you are in for a km walk. I find it difficult to walk steps but they told me there is no room available which is directly assessable by the...

My wife and I spent 2 nights here one before a cruise and the other after the cruise, we had dinner on the first visit but ate out on the return visit, there is a Metro station about 15 minutes walk away and it was 1 euro 80 for an all day ticket which was good value.

Stayed one night on a business trip. Lovely welcome and a slick reception service. Room a bit spartan but very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Beautiful new bathroom with a shower - no bath which is a shame. Television had a few English speaking channels which was good. Breakfast on a Saturday morning was extremely busy but in fairness to the...
