It's a pity that the owners of this building don't want to invest in its redevelopment. It's a handsome building well situated a little off the beaten tourist path. The room I was in was tiny, off a communal kitchen so quite noisy (the floors are all granite/marble so sound resonates), bring earplugs. The single bed was only about 30"...

we stayed on the 3rd floor, so we had to drag our bags 3 floors up... NO ELEVATOR! the shower was strangely located over the toilet seat, so can't take a shower without getting the seat completely wet... TV had one channel and was very small, furniture was very old and tired location was excellent

Beware! This hostel is right above an extremely active and noisy pub which plays heavy metal super late in the night and there are tons of people screaming in the street. I am at the hotel right now. well this is a hostel, not a hotel which I have no problem with. I got a single room with a tiny...

It was ok for it's location. TV was broken, Shower head was broken, dust and some trash under the beds. Worth $200.00 a night? Absolutely NOT! Will not stay there again if we got back to Bergen. I maybe would pay $50.00 a night for this room. :(

I had the chance to stay at this hotel for my exam at Folkeuniversitetet last December, 2013. It was a nice location as it's just 2 blocks away from my testing center. I liked the room for a single guest. It's big enough for me and yes worth the amount that I paid for. The place was clean and the...

The only positive about this place is its location. I got room on the fifth floor, room number 504. Well its hardly a room. The place got sloped ceiling up to floor with the bed stacked underneath. There was no wardrobe or place to store your luggage, because the room was so small. I had to move bed to fit...

I choose to stay in this hotel with a very specific goal: Going to a metal concert in Garage and hiking in the mountains, so i wanted mostly a price/location The room was confortable, clean and tidy, and the shared kitchen was very useful so i could cook my own meals. I understand that people who are in the mood...

Rooms are small though sufficient. The shower is actually made by the tube coming out from the wall: thus taking a shower means throwing water all around the bathroom Rooms are on upper floors and there is no lift In the middle of the floor, there is a small kitchen and a refrigerator which can be used by guests My...

I was in Bergen for 2 days and needed a nice place to stay for 1 night. I looked through all the long list of hotels and hostels and this one seemed the most suitable. It had an affordable price, the room was quite small, it was the only time in my life i've stayed in a single room, but...

After we rode the review, that dfined the hotel terrible, we decided to book anyway and call it The Terrible Inn (in a joke way). But honestly our stay was very good (1night). The bathroom bit small but clean and new, the bed very confortable. The stuff is so kind. Moreover, with spent a fantastic night at The Garage, the...
