I had stayed in a hostel before staying in City Apartment Hotel. What can I say? First of all, only one key opens all doors: the same key open the front door and the room door. So, it is not safe at all. Besides that, they had no hot water in my second night, which was terrible. Very expensive price...

I'm going to go against some of the more apocalpytic postings on here. By far the worst aspect of this hotel is the entrance. The sign is smashed outside, the main door is very uninviting indeed, continuing into a neglected, care-worn entrance, leading to a flight of steps which really do not look terribly clean in places. I am prepared...

Room appeared clean and well kept despite the building outside looking a bit out of repair. Then after gone home, my friend was covered in bedbug bites. Avoid!!!

In June/July Bergen is really busy with tourists and with this all of the hotels are usually full. We had no choice but stay here. BIG Mistake... The place is under a night club or bar and as soon as you enter you can smell a mouldy smell. The receptionist sits behind a desk with security netting or bars around...

We made a huge mistake by staying here. We had to spend just one night somewhere and thought this place would be ok. The location is good, the receptioninst was very helpful and polite, and it was the only place under NOK 1200 we could find on short notice. The room was small, but light and clean. Then the problems:...

I've had a much too long stay at this hotel! The room was allready rented and I had no other choice than staying my time there. It's expensive, it's dirty, the service sucks, there is no elevator and no rooms until the third floor. it''s noise from the clubs outside, traffick is just outside your window and in the back...

I was looking for something cheap in Bergen and I received something really cheap from all aspects. The price is low (norway is too expensive) but this is the only positive thing about this hotel. The bathroom is too small, the bed is too small, the furnitures are too old. The room was never cleaned. All the dorrs made noise,...

Didn't get the keys, just after few telefon calls and long hours of waiting. Only one key for 3 persons. Kitchen was not usable - no oven, no inventory - unbelievable dirty. The 3 bedroom was, if, usable as a single room. We had to recycle the waste ourselves and clean the wastepaperbasket ourselves. Only the water was warm was...

recomended friends to stay as it was cheap, what a mistake. Bad rooms, bad service, and the noise from a cafe next door made it impossible to sleep before 3 am.Forget the cheap price and fine somewhere else.

the original hotel double booked us so they e mailed me to let me know that we had been transferred to the city box. A bit concerned about previous comments but arrived after 4.00pm when the check in is closed, no problem just punch in the code/digits given in e mail , insert credit card and we`re in.Simple. we had...
