Detailed Reviews
My wife & I have been stopping with Giles & David annually for a few years now and we did again recently. They are excellent hosts, kind, friendly, chatty and always totally willing to attend to customer needs at any time. Our room is always spotless and very comfortable as too is the dining room downstairs. The cooked breakfasts are out of this world with especially delicious bacon. Fruit and cereals are also provided. Local shops and amenities and the Mumbles seafront with it's extensive range of restaurants are in easy walking distance, and the beautiful Gower is a short drive away.

A very warm (and understanding!) welcome from David and Giles in what is an extremely comfortable and well-appointed B&B. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, with a particularly good hospitality tray and lots of interesting information about the B&B itself, the hosts, and the surrounding area. Breakfasts are plentiful, with lots of choice, and ingredients sourced locally.
A big plus is having a car park just across the road which is considerably cheaper than those on the front at Mumbles, and which always had plenty of space.
In short, I have no hesitation in recommending this B&B to anyone visiting Mumbles.

We stayed for three nights at Langland Road B&B and greatly enjoyed it. The bedroom was comfortably appointed, spotlessly clean with a comfortable bed. Breakfast was a treat and we certainly enjoyed the full English breakfast; things were served quickly and efficiently. Although this B&B does not have off road parking, we did not find this to be a problem and had no trouble finding a parking space on Queens Road, just around the corner when required. The B&B is handily located for all amenities that Mumbles has to offer, and is a short walk (800m) from beautiful Langland Bay.

Stayed one night at the B&B - had a lovely room with a beautiful bathroom and comfortable bed. The room had all the extras we could have needed, such as tea and coffee making facilities. The owners were friendly and welcoming, and breakfast was delicious. Very reasonably priced night's stay in a great location for the town - would definitely love to stay again.

Street parking available outside the pemises between 4pm and 10am. Checkout at 11am but breakfast available from 8am.
Booking was easy via their own website. Greeted by Giles on arrival and shown to the room. Fresh milk was available to make tea and coffe. TV, hairdryer, clean towels and complementary shower gel provided in the room.
Bright, clean and warm room. Full breakfast freshly cooked in the morning. Good price for a lovely area. Everything you want from a well run B&B.

We stayed at this lovely B&B some time ago and can confidently recommend it to anyone considering a holiday in this area. We were warmly greeted on arrival, the room was spotlessly clean with tea and coffee facilities plus a few snacks and wfi was easily accessible. The breakfast was great too .. a choice of cereals, yoghurts and juices, toast and hot food that was freshly cooked. Check out time is 11 am which makes for a leisurely morning without the need to rush. Nothing seems too much trouble for the hosts and we really do hope to return later in the year.

We had a wonderful weekend staying here. There's clearly been a lot of thought and effort put into optimising each and every aspect of what you could want from a B & B - clean rooms, friendly and engaging hosts, a perfect breakfast and a great night sleep (so great I'm making efforts to buy the same type of mattress for myself!). Would certainly recommend and hope to return next year.

A lovely, friendly, cosy, quiet and very homely B and B with delightful hosts, who are happy to make helpful recommendations for your stay in the Mumbles. Bedroom was super clean and comfy. They have made such an effort to be green and reduce waste and packaging (none of those tiny UHT cartons here, thank goodness) . Breakfast was delicious - really tasty. Very thoughtful touches eg fresh milk always available, DVDs to borrow, a world map at the entrance showing where all the guests hailed from, and even putting the baked beans in a ramekin on the plate. David was so kind to post back my lost property for me, the very next day. B and B is within walking distance of some v good independent shops , restaurants (recommend the Mediterranean for Turkish food) and bars (you can buy Mumbles brewed beer from the Mumb-ales bar). You can easily get to the very accessible tarmac coastal path to Mumbles head or Langland bay - easy walks, fab views. Beautiful. I would recommend it 100%.

Wow, what a fabulous place to stay whilst visiting the lovely mumbles. Greeted by the host who immediately puts you at ease , the room was great, & the bed was so comfortable. It was lovely to be offered fresh milk from the breakfast room for your tea / coffee/ hot choc , then the breakfast, it was very tasty and piping hot, all local produce is used, , David & Giles are amazing hosts, we’ll definitely be staying again for a nice evening out sampling all mumbles has to offer .
Location is great, and parking was not a problem at all .
You won’t be disappointed when visiting this fabulous B & B .

Just returned from a 2 night stay and loved it! We had the room at the front of the hotel but hardly noticed any noise from the main road. The room was very comfortable with some nice little extra’s that really helped make our stay a great experience. Breakfast was very tasty and they cater for vegetarians which was good to see. The hosts were very helpful and full of local knowledge. The B&B is situated at the top of a hill with only a short walk to the shops, bars and sea front. We will definitely be back! Thank you Giles and David for your very warm hospitality.

Hello there - sorry for late reply - we don’t get notified of a new question. We’re around 1.5 miles from Mumbles cricket club.
Swansea is the closest.
There is now a new pay and display car park opposite our B&B at ÂŁ4 for 24 hours parking.
