Most amazing stay!!!
We stayed here for two nights last weekend and WOW! Most gorgeous, clean and cosy wigwams with views for days. The wigwam was super clean, everything provided and including hand sanitizer and two masks for extra COVID safety. Firepit & hot-tub provided what more could you want? The hosts were so helpful and couldn’t of done anymore for us! Checked everything was fine, gave us directions for lovely walks and the freedom to see animals on their farm, provided a breakfast hamper (for a small charge) of fresh produce which was delicious! We stayed here over my partners birthday and Julie and James knew this. When we arrived they had put up fairy lights, birthday banners and provided a special hamper wrapped up with Prosecco and cake for us to enjoy! We had the most perfect weekend and will definitely be revisiting very soon! Couldn’t recommend this place enough. You won’t be disappointed👏🏽

Last minute stay
Last minute decision for 8 of us to stay.
Julie and Jimmy couldn’t have been any better. They ensured we were all settled and comfortable.
The cottages themselves were spacious and clean with everything you needed (dishwasher, tea/coffee/milk) there was plenty of plates and glasses which you can usually guarantee are in short supply in every other holiday business.
We had a great nights sleep and a good breakfast supplied by them went down well! We look forward to staying with you in the future!

Fantastic, what a find.
We wanted to get away for a week and came across these cottages, what a find. If you enjoy the countryside and want to get away from the city this is an ideal place. We stayed at one of the farm cottages "The Granary" part of a complex of converted barns situated within a working farm. This accommodation with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a kitchen lounge was one of cleanest places we have ever stayed in and we have stayed in numerous places. It was immaculate and could not fault it at all. The kitchen was well equipped. Sachets of tea, coffee and sugar were provided together with a bottle of milk and some cleaning products. There were also toiletries in the bathrooms. The owners and staff were great hosts. We loved the Alpacas and seeing the new born lambs. Thirsk is only 4 miles away, a small market town. The farm in Sutton -under-Whitestonecilffe lays at the foot of Sutton Bank Yorkshire moors. There are plenty of walks and places to visit. We will definitely stay at the cottages again but there are also glamping pods which look fantastic. A big thank you to the hosts for making us so welcome. This place is a star find.

Fantastic
We loved Water Hall Farm. Julie & James were lovely hosts. They could not do enough for us as guests. Nothing was too much trouble.

The views were stunning, the pods were spotless and the hot tubs were cleaned regularly.

The breakfast hamper was delicious, with pork from their own pigs.

If you are looking for holiday, book Water Hall Farm; it will not disappoint.

Having travelled all over the world, I rarely write reviews. But this is an exception.

Exceptional!

Excellent location luxury glamping awesome hot tub
We stayed for new years eve as a last minute booking. The hosts were very welcoming and made changes that we requested. Very Highly recommended. Extremely clean. Hot tub was great!
Fresh eggs provided, a bottle of fizz and some chocolates too!
All cooking facilities that you would need available. Heating kept the place warm so perfect for a cold winter evening or a lovely summers night.
With a clear sky, the stars were perfectly visible.
So peaceful and calm.
5* will definitely return.

Amazing 2 night stay
Just returned back to Sheffield after the most amazing stay at this lovely working farm. My wife and I stayed in one of the lovely pods, overlooking the lovely scenery and farm. The pods are great, everything we needed was provided and it was so immaculately presented, loved all the quirky touches right down to the pack of cards in the bowl. The hot tub was all ready for use when we arrived, plenty of wood provided to keep it going as it was a log burning tub, James was on it straight away if we needed more wood for it
The hosts were fantastic and provided everything we needed during our stay, if you do stay, you need the breakfast hamper, well worth £20 as it did us 2 days
All in all, a fantastic stay in a lovely location and a great point if you want to explore, definitely recommend...

Amazing place with brilliant service
My housemates and I stayed here for a weekend, and we had seen the photos but the actual place blew us away. We had everything we needed (we brought our own blankets), it was cleaned, in perfect condition, and James and Julie who ran it were extremely friendly and welcoming. Likewise the area is gorgeous, some great walks, and Thirsk itself is super close and definitely worth a visit! Already planning on going again :)

Prefect Pod Getaway
This was our first pod experience and it was brilliant.
Julie, James and the team are wonderful and so welcoming, they're always happy to help out with any questions and suggest places in the area to visit.
The two chickens on the site were the highlight for our toddler and they became best friends by the end of our break (the chickens also produce the most delicious eggs which you can buy on site).
The pods are immaculate and well equipped. They're also super cosy with their little finishing touches too as well as being soundproof for a prefect night's sleep, even with the window open it's still quiet.
WiFi is provided, however it was great to just be offline, soak up the scenery and spend quality time as a family.
We can't wait to go back again to make more family memories.

Absolutely perfect
Stayed here for a 2 night break as we were supposed to be in the South of France but couldn't go due to the recent pandemic.

We absolutely fell in love with the place. The farm & site itself and also the local area. It is so peaceful, and the views are stunning. James & Julie were so helpful and welcoming. The breakfast hamper, fairy lights & fire pit bundle were brilliant for an extra charge.

Couldn't say nicer things about it. We will definitely bring our daughter back here, as it is perfect for couples and families with the farm animals and all the open space.

Perfect!
Another fab stay at Water Hall Farm, we stayed in 3 pods and each one is perfect, really cosy, spotless and has everything you need. The setting is picturesque, so peaceful with Thirsk centre only a 10minute drive away.
Hosts are only a text/phone call away if you ever need them and are really friendly. Will definitely be returning!
