only spent one night here, but we were made very welcome. The hosts couldnt do enough for you! the room was very clean, comfortable & had a fabby view of the sea, well worth paying the extra £10 for. we loved that the boat house was in a fairly quiet area, but the pier and shops were only a short...

All in all a great experience. Thanks to the whole family. As a family run business, they have spent a lot of time giving the personal touch. Clean, quiet, and comfortable, it is everything you would want in a B&B. We are a family of four, and couldn't ask for anythign better. A great stay, thanks so much for helping...

Wanted to book a 2 night break with my partner around the Eastbourne area, and after browsing, I found this pleasant guesthouse at a very reasonable cost. Situated just outside the main shopping/entertainment area, with free parking. The hosts, Kelly and Gary were most welcoming, and very informative of the local area. We had a double room, with ample space...

Travelled down for two nights during December 2011. Booked top of the house room number 6. Double bed, ensuite shower/toilet, sink in room, hair dryer, sky tv, clock radio, tea/coffee making facilities, two chairs, bedside cabinets with snazzy touch use lights and a small wardrobe. Wonderful sea view and when you sit up in bed you can see the sun...

What a nice little B&B. We arrived earlier than expected but still had a very friendly greeting and were allowed into one of our rooms while the other was quickly finished for us. The rooms were very clean and the beds comfortable. Breakfast was lovely and plentiful, certainly didn't need anything else to eat until late afternoon! Would certainly recommend...

The warmest home from home with benefits. Lovley rooms, comfy beds, clean as can be. Will use everytime i have an early...

What a fantastic place, I booked in for 2 nights intending to spand the rest of my stay in a self-contained flat, which turned out to be a disaster, I went straight back to Gary and Marie to see if they still had a room, I was very lucky and spent 8 nights with them, they made me feel like...

From the moment we arrived we were treated like friends. Could not fault it. Tasty breakfasts and very friendly and extremely clean. Would not hesitate to come back. In fact didn't want to go home! John and Claire.

Thank you, Marie, for a wonderful welcome and a super break! The room was comfortable and well-presented with a sea view. The breakfasts were great and there were so many places to visit nearby that we were spoilt for choice.

We visited The Boat House 4 times in 2009 and were surprised that there were no reviews. Paul and Stephanie were perfect hosts, nothiing was too much trouble. It is on the east end of Eastbourne in a very quiet close just off the main road. The food and service were excellent and there is free parking (at a premium...
