My husband and myself booked this S hearings break as my husband is recovering from stomach cancer I read a few different review sites and was becoming concerned I had made a mistake. But what a surprise the hotel facilities and staff so far are excellent. When I checked in I was given a upgrade and the room is perfect...

Meet some nice people and our shearings driver Mark was very good. Value for money. Entertainment excellent and drink vouchers went down a treat.

We stayed here after another hotel cancelled our booking last minute. We booked through late rooms and was a little worried when we got there and they have no booking on their system. Thankfully the very helpful reception staff sorted this out. The corridors looked a little tired but the room was lovely, really spacious and with a lovely view....

Thank you Kerrie F for your very positive review. We did encounter some techie issues with some late room bookings last week and I am so pleased to read that my reception team looked after you. My maintenance team have just started a programme of works on our corridors so the points you have made are now being attended to....

Yes the hotel has a few issues here and there but that adds to its charm ,the staff are all nice ,its clean and warm ,and the entertainment is the evening is...

I went to this hotel for a weekend break, it included drinks vouchers on Saturday. The bedroom was comfortable with a good bed, but the room was sea facing and not double glazed, noise at night from passing vehicles. The shower was poor lacking power, reported to reception but did not improve. There were two lifts, but one was very...

I have just retuned from a pleasant stay in this hotel. I was delighted with the location....almost opposite the pier and close to the shops. The staff throughout the hotel were very helpful and friendly. I was in a single room (437) for which I had to pay a supplement. It was quite small with a single bed. It had...

Many thanks hythehoney, for your very informative review. You were quite right to say the water in this room was a little high, that has now been addressed. I have passed your observations to housekeeping regarding the towel and have to agree it should not have been put in like this. Your other very positive comments are very much appreciated....

Couldn't get a better location, right near pier and main shops just around the corner. (Noisy at night especially at the weekends). Hotel is in desperate need of renovation. Two lifts - one out of order. In the lift was a sign of things to come - scuffed, scratched, old paint and then once out an into the hotel corridor...

Thank you Martin P for taking the time to leave a review. You comments make for interesting reading. Have to agree there are parts of the hotel that are in need of modernising and this is the pipe line for the near future. I can assure you the doors are cleaned on a regular basis with a antivirul cleaner. The...
