Just came back for a really short visit to Eastbourne and I have to say that this hotel really surprise me. The location is really nice, close to the beach and the town center. The view from my room was amazing. Also, was always clean. The staff was very friendly and efficiant, specially thanks to Sandra and Rubén who made...

I have recently come back to this lovely hotel and it just got better. They are in process of refurbishing all common areas and rooms and you can already see the improvement. They are launching an exciting lunch menu and a nice specialist coffee menu. Well done to all the staff, keep working in that direction. We will come back...

I have just returned from a week at this hotel in Eastbourne. My room was very clean and comfortable although there were a few bits there and in the hotel as a whole that could have done with a lick of paint. The food in the hotel was particularly good. Best of all, the staff were excellent - friendly, efficient...

I stayed here for 4 nights as one of a coach party with Grand UK holidays. From the outside it is a substantial Victorian(?) style building right on the seafront road. Up the front steps and through the revolving doors (possibly original) into reception, the first thing I noticed was the unusual carpet which would seem to be specially made,...

My wife and me just came back from this lovely hotel where we spent the New Year's Eve. The hotel is a perfectly fine 3 stars hotel in a lovely location. What really makes this hotel superb is the staff. The service in the restaurant was excellent, what would you expect from a 5 star hotel. Everyone was very helpful...

My wife and I really enjoyed our Turkey and Tinsel break here at the Mansion Lions Hotel. We were very well looked after and very good food and attentive staff who supplied an excellent service. Rooms and public areas could do with some urgent updating, but considering the price we paid for our break, that is minor quibble. Entertainment every...

Room 107 had stained bed linen and the bathroom was covered in hairs. The standard of the service is very poor - the hotel is understaffed. The manager/owner is very arrogant and does not care about the customers. I was ignored when I checked out. Never again.
