My wife booked this hotel with a groupon voucher which coast £59 . When she telephoned to book the room they offered dinner for an extra £10 which we thought was good value. The hotel is lovely. We had a room with a sea view . The staff were nice and the 3 course meal was excellent. Breakfast in the...

Stayed here one night on a `Dinner, bed and breakfast` deal. The hotel is one of the Grand Victorian type on the sea front, with the front and side rooms offering a sea view, unfortunately we were given a small box room on the fourth floor, with a view of a scruffy flat roof outside our window, a ten foot...

Nice old fashioned hotel, a little bit 'tired', but all compensated with a beautiful ocean view and relaxing atmosphere. Spa is very small, has sauna and a steam room, if you want to have a treatment, must to book in advance, otherwise, not possible to get an appointment. Breakfasts are simple, but good, stuff is very polite. The only problem...

There was very cold in the room, breakfast was not tasty at all. I found really hard to find clean plates in the self service buffet. Carpets need to be changed over for new and fresh ones. Didnt like it. The view was nice though. Er paid 120£ it wasnt worth it.

To bad it seemed as if the pastries were limited. On Sunday morning we...

Took a groupon offer of spa with afternoon tea. The spa isn't really a spa just a room with a sauna, vapour room (which was in darkness and no hint of vapours) and a rest area with five loungers. The treatment I opted for was neck and back massage, during which the hotels maintenance man came in without knocking, this...

I took my dad to the Cavendish in early January. We had a really lovely stay at a very good price. The rooms were spacious and clean and we had a really nice breakfast. My dad who is 89 usually finds fault in many things but he really enjoyed our stay. I have never been to Eastbourne before but thought...

A friend and I visited with a groupon deal for afternoon tea and spa. The afternoon tea was lovely and the hotel and views were beautiful. The spa however wasn't great. The poor girl there was doing everything alone and had quite a few angry guest shouting at for not having enough robes which she was doing her best to...
