We are the Rotary Club of Eastbourne and yesterday morning at 10:15 am we learned that our usual Monday lunch venue for 36 members had closed without notice for building works. A call for help to the manager at the Cavendish Hotel was met by a positive response from their chef and restaurant team and within 15 minutes we had...

We have stayed many times and always been delighted. Our latest visit was not up to its usual high standard. The hotel was fairly full and queuing for up to fifteen minutes outside the restaurant for breakfast was not acceptable, nor was the absence of sausage and pastries and rather dried beans and scrambled eggs! We even had to ask...

We are here for 3 nights and this is our last evening. Unfortunately the weather has been so bad that we have spent most of our time in the hotel, but there is plenty of space and you never feel compacted. The rooms are spacious with very good toiletries and the bed is very comfortable, the library is a lovely...

We were visiting family and not enough beds so stayed in hotel. We got there late so didn't experience dinner there or day facilities. Check in was easy and quick. Bed super comfy and room lovely. Breakfast plentiful and delicious Outside ok but inside impressive

We stayed for 2 nights in this hotel and enjoyed our time there. It has lovely views from the sea front, the breakfasts are very good and we found the staff helpful. We thought the room was in generally good condition and it provided good value for money. Our only minor complaint is that the rooms were too warm even...

Arrived at 2.30pm and room was ready. So,went straight up to the" seaview room". Room 307 was on the side. So by looking sideways from the window we did see the sea! The room was very big you could easily get another bed in with the two singles that we had. Four coffee sachets and four teabags two small packs...

Pretty good stay in a huge room, though it was a bit sparsely decorated, and beige. A few housekeeping issues i.e. Only one towel for two people and beds not made up as a twin room, but they were sorted very quickly, so no problems. Nice friendly staff, good beds, excellent Wifi, decent breakfast with plenty of choice and we...

Spent 3 nights here on a package deal including dinner bed and breakfast. We enjoyed it very much last year and was just as good this time. Having a superior room with sea view makes it really special. The food is very good too without being too rich. There is always a well balanced selection from the table d'hote menu...

Check in time is 3 o,clock. If arriving at 11-12pm in winter you would have to wait around 4 hours before getting to your things and hardly any daylight left. Other hotels manage to be ready earlier. 20 minute wait for a table at breakfast and most of the hot buffet was gone. On the plus side, really large room,...

Good value for money, really nice bar downstairs, the rooms are a bit dated but comfortable, breakfast was included with our room and there was lots of choice hot and cold! Although there was no one greeting people or a wait to be seated sign as you arrive for breakfast and they seemed to get annoyed at people just finding there own table....
