Hotel is very prominently located opposite the bandstand on the seafront. Staff were very pleasant though not very many of them. Food was good at the beginning of the week but deteriorated, along with the service by the end of the week. Noise was a big problem for me at night - thin walls, t.v noise and very creaky floorboards....

Spent a pleasant and comfortable 5 days. Right on Sea front opposite the Bandstand. Food reasonable, rooms comfortable and very clean. Ideal for quick walks to pier or walk to shopping centre. Very easy to catch a bus up to Beachy Head or over to Hastings.

Visiting this hotel recently with my elderly mother I was most impressed with the friendly front of the house staff. They and the waiting staff could not do enough to make your stay more comfortable. Unfortunately the whole hotel had the feeling of an old peoples home and the standard of the food gave one the impression that perhaps the...

Nice hotel. Clean and comfortable. Rooms needs updating in my opinion. Food was nice. I had a double room, equipped enough for a short stay. Very good location on the sea front. You are near the pier and not to far from all the shops/eating places/pubs.

We were forced to stay here because our beloved 'Chatsworth' is closed for refurbishment. Suffice to say we won't be returning. The 'superior' room we were allocated was barely big enough to swing a cat. The bathroom was a joke - the size of a broom cupboard. The sink was doll sized, you had to be a contortionist to reach...

I was very happy with the room and service we received for our 1 night stay with breakfast. We didn't have a good view but i was fine with that because we didn't hear any outside noise as we slept with the windows open. We had a twin room with an extra little bed put in our room for our...

Bedrooms need attention because of old, worn furniture and badly creeking floorboards which were common to all the rooms taken by the large party of which I was one of nearly fifty people. Breakfast was good but dinner not so ( same meal offered on Friday and Monday ). I twice reported a light fitting which had fallen apart and...

I visit Eastbourne on a regular basis and this hotel is an absolute gem for both price and comfort. Yes, there was, as always, a few niggles. No shower curtain but quickly addressed, unable to open sash window and a little dated. However, for £35.00 single room, with breakfast, toiletries, sea view and tea, coffee and hairdryer I am not...
