I stayed at the Cherry Tree for one night over the weekend. The location was great - close to the seafront and with lots of free parking. My room was nice, with some nice little touches however I was quite disappointed by the bathroom. The sink was so small that it made it difficult to keep the water in the...

Went to Eastbourne to visit relatives, and chose this b+b because of its closeness to the beach, and previous good reviews. Mel and Colin (the hosts), were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The room was spotless, and there is also a large comfortable day room with tv, and complimentary coffee and biscuits. Very good choice of breakfast,...

I was in Eastbourne to see a show and opted for The Cherry Tree guesthouse as my base. Its only a short cab ride from the train station, on a nice day you could walk there in 20 mins. Mel is a dream host, very welcoming and makes you feel at home immediately upon arrival. After a cuppa and some...

We received a very warm welcome from Mel and Colin to this lovely, characterful B&B. The rooms are comfy and very clean. The breakfasts are delicious too! We would highly recommend staying here and will certainly be back again soon.

Best B&B in Eastbourne, and we have stayed in quite a few over the years. Well placed just off the seafront with free parking on the street which is a bonus.. Only a couple of minutes walk to the beach and promenade. Easy walking distance to nearby restaurants and not too far from town centre but far enough to be...

I would highly recommend the Cherry Tree hotel. I found the owners very pleasant and accommodating, and the room was clean and pleasant. The breakfast was also very tasty. All in all, a really good experience.

Had a fantastic two nights here, the owners were so accommodating with our very late arrival (00:30 after driving from Leeds). Room was clean and comfortable, hotel itself is in a great location less than 5 minutes walk to the seafront and 10-15 into the town. Can definitely recommend the breakfast, especially the waffles! All in all a really pleasant...

We stayed down from Friday until the Monday, it was an excellent stay and was like a home from home. We will definitely be coming back again in the future. Polite hosts and friendly at all times. Breakfast was lovely too. Very good value

The hotel advertised 'Parking nearby' but when we arrived on a very rainy and dark Saturday evening there was no parking nearby and we had to drive around for 10 minutes waiting for someone to vacate a space. Entering the hotel we were greeted by Mel who was very pleasant and offered us hot drinks and showed us to our...

It was my first stay at Cherry Tree Hotel - but it definitely won't be my last. Warm welcome, nice room (clean, well-equipped, nicely decorated), excellent breakfast. Lots of different options for the cooked breakfast, which made it really difficult to choose one, as they all sounded promising. I chose the waffle, which came lovingly garnished with fresh fruit and...
