The Chatsworth is an impressive, Victorian hotel on the seafront and the charm doesn't end at the front door. The reception area is dominated by a fabulous Victorian lift which I really hope survives the renovations which are taking place here. These works do mean...More

As one person has already answered the question that one can buy a day's parking permit from the reception. So, there shouldn't be any parking problem as there are plenty of parking spaces available near the hotel. Secondly, persons holding Blue Badge (disabled permit) can park in any parking bays for unlimited time. This is what I was told by one of the traffic wardens I met during my last visit. I was in Eastbourne for Air Show and the city was full of visitors. However, I was able to find a parking place in front of the hotel during my four days' stay there. Also, the parking unit of the Eastbourne council is very helpful and is always willing to answer any question concerning parking.
