My stay was in June before COVID restrictions were lifted, it was my first venture out since the pandemic began and to say I was apprehensive is an understatement. I worried for no reason.
Hand sanitisers in many places and no encouragement required to use them. Lift was available but I choose to only use this on arrival/departure when I had my luggage.
Receptionist on check in made it clear that my room would not be entered by staff for the duration of my stay so any additional tea/coffee would need to be requested at reception. She also pointed out that if I left the bins outside they would empty them if required.
Restaurant area had (probably) less than 50% tables/space available and as such your breakfast time needed to be booked. No self service all food freshly prepared including heating pain au chocolat which I particularly liked. Cooked breakfast also provided fresh.
On just one occasion I asked about booking an evening meal and initially I was told they were booked at the time I wanted, but receptionist then advised if I turned up as they opened she would ensure I was served ahead of a larger party who had booked. Weirdly the tables were never all filled during the time I was there.
Hospitality venues have had possibly the worst of the pandemic, and whilst I have previously stayed in smaller hotels/B&B's when on family trips I knew from other destinations that Premier Inns will put their customers first, and reading their COVID protocols prior to booking gave me the confidence (how many other hotels directly employ their cleaning staff?)
Loved my stay and will be back when I next have a chance to do so.

Good location for all amenities, Beach, Restaurants, shops etc., Hotel is managed very well with a cooked to order hot breakfast, well done and organised. The only downside of this hotel in my opinion is that the decor is very dull mainly dark brown furniture and decor (in the rooms) which makes it appear cheap when it could look so much better with little effort.

Room clean and good night sleep. Enough tea and coffee stayed two nights and staff gave us more tea and coffee. Because of covid the cleaners did not enter the room but as only there two nights that was ok. The hotel abide by Covid 19 rules hand sanitisers when you enter and staff wear face masks and we had to wear face masks walking around the hotel. The lady on reception Julie was really nice and friendly. Will hopefully come back .

Close to beach, pier, restaurants etc. NCP parking close by which is £6 for 24 hours. Check in experience wasn't great, didn't get access to my room until after 5pm as advised to go away and come back later. Had 3 kids in tow so that was quite stressful. Coffee facilities available, TV working in room, hotel was soundproof, very quiet which helped us have a good night sleep. The room and bathroom were spotless.

Was staying with two nephews, had called to ask for connecting room for medial reasons and this was confirmed. Room was not available upon arrival which meant bedroom doors couldn't be locked if assistance was required during the night - was told we could use the corridor. Slept badly in case the phone rang - if we had connecting rooms and assistance was needed I could be woken easily. BUT connecting rooms are not guaranteed.

Due to Covid no cleaning for the 3 nights we were there, which I had expected but no advice on where to empty wastepaper bins or supply of clean towels. The rooms needed a hoover by the end of the say so felt uncomfortable - expect a clean room at a hotel, with restrictions lifted really expected the cleaning regime to change as well.

May go back again but will wait until normal service is resumed, and need more guarantee of connecting rooms for medical reasons, or allow 3 people to share a room.

We were really surprised that although the country has now come out of social distancing measures, that Premier Inn, is not servicing rooms and resuming service as normal. Room rates do not reflect this cost saving to the company though. If you wanted clean towels or needed more hot drink supplies you had to ask at reception, we also ran out of supplies in the bathroom as we stayed for a week and our room was not serviced once. The helpful man on reception, restocked our bathroom whilst we were out for dinner. This is a general Premier Inn decision we were told, so not a reflection on the Eastbourne hotel individually.
All that aside, we had a really lovely stay. The location of the hotel is so central that we parked our car in the NCP, a short walk away and it stayed there for the entirety of our holiday. It really did feel like a holiday too, glorious sunshine the whole time, we walked to the beach every morning and stayed all day. The air conditioning ensured we had a restful nights sleep.
Lots of good options to eat and drink close by and the town centre a short walk away too. Although the outside of the hotel doesn’t really look that appealing, the location more than makes up for it’s lack of kerb appeal.
We will return as we had such a pleasant stay, we were fortunate to have fantastic weather the whole time, which can be the make or break aspect of a British summer holiday.

We decided to visit Eastbourne for 2 nights. A welcome break from the big city. My cousin, her one year old daughter and myself. The large family room was perfect for us. The cleanliness, the TV, the tea/coffee/towels/the beds/hot waterfall shower were all comforting. The beds/pillows made for blissful sleep and the powerful shower head made me think that I was under a waterfall. Heavenly!

The fact that I lost my key soon after arrival was shameful but easily dealt with by Julia with her lively sense of humour. I cannot thank her and the staff enough.
The warmth, the attention, the suggestions etc all appreciated. Oh the breakfast selection was also on point. My cousin had the Continental one, the baby enjoyed it as well. I had the cooked one. Twice no less lol The location was perfect
for the shops, the pier, the many restaurants e.g. Greek, Italian, Spanish.

I would highly recommend this hotel to those who are looking for comfort, affordability and of course the walking distance to the local mall, beach, pier and its lively sellers. We intend to return before autumn all being well. Thank you Georgina (manager) we wanted to meet you but you were called away.
Please give Julia an extra day off for her warmth, sunny smiles, excellent care and service to us. Truly appreciated. So go ahead, shop around as is expected,
There are TONS of hotels within the vicinity. Some larger/ posher than others. Others less so.
However, for affordability, ease, location and comfort try the Premier Inn---you won't be disappointed. I promise. Charity, baby Bella and Jen.

This Premier Inn was very well located in the town centre of Eastbourne. This was important for me as I had to get the bus from the Langham hotel at 3am for the South Downs Way 100K Ultra that started at 5am from Arundel.

The staff were all friendly & the venue was clean. The rooms could do with a lick of paint, but this was not a major issue.

The breakfast buffet was great & always well stocked. The hot breakfast was cooked on request, but was always served hot & fresh. The hot breakfast was served quickly!

The parking was located just down the road & was very reasonable. The road parking was free on a Sunday & it was relatively easy to locate a spot.

Despite this being the most expensive of the 14 Premier Inn venues we have visited, I would recommend.

As my review title says it really was such a wonderful stay here. We arrived on the 21st of December and stayed until Boxing Day to spend Christmas with family in Eastbourne. It was our first time staying at this Premier Inn and also our first time staying in a Premier Inn plus room and we absolutely loved it both the room and this Premier Inn itself. The team here are so genuinely friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them in any way. All team members were lovely but I must give special mentions to Dawn & Georgina for such warmth and friendliness and also a very special mention to Trevor the chef his food both at breakfast and dinner was absolute perfection not only in taste but also presentation. We called Trevor’s cooking "plated perfection" and that it truly was. An obvious sign of great dedication and pride. The new Premier Inn plus rooms are absolutely beautiful and we really appreciated the extra details as in the art work on the walls, the gorgeous lighting, Nespresso machine, chocolates and water. The bathroom was beautiful with luxury toiletries and we particularly loved the lighting in the bathroom. Whenever we stay in a UK Premier Inn now we will always book a Premier Inn plus room now as for such a small increase in cost it’s absolutely worth every single penny. We stay in Premier Inns all over the Uk and across Germany both for pleasure and work and Eastbourne town Centre Premier Inn is without a doubt our favorite now even surpassing our Love for Frankfurt Messe Premier Inn. (Sorry Frankfurt messe but the food here is fabulous) . Thank you guys for such a wonderful festive stay we loved it! Until next time, Best regards

After many visits to Eastbourne we decided on this occassion to stay at the Premier Inn and we're so glad we did. Room was just as we expected, comfortable night in a nice quiet environment. Good shower/bath too. Initially we were going to have breakfast at one of the local cafes bur changed our mind after looking at the Premier Inn breakfast menu. Very good value and great service from Julia.
