B&B here is fantastic! I've stayed several times and the service is always outstanding. A warm welcome on arrival, with tea and cake and very comfortable rooms. Breakfast also comes highly recommended, especially the smoked salmon and eggs with homemade bread and jam. It's also definitely a place to stay if you're a garden lover.

My mother, sister and I just spent a short but oh so sweet stay at Ocklynge manor and cannot recommend it highly enough. We were treated like royalty from start to finish and won't hesitate to return. We were staying in Eastbourne for a theatre visit, but Ocklynge manor and our delightful hosts are reason in themselves to return, Both...

I have just returned from a wonderful stay at Ocklynge Manor B and B. Three of us stayed there over the weekend when we were in Eastbourne for a wedding. The house is gorgeous and the rooms are so lovely. We all slept so well and felt very pampered by our generous and kind host Wendy. Booking was incredibly easy...

We stayed at Ocklynge Manor for two nights over the weekend. As former Eastbourne residents we visit the town quite a lot, and this is the best place we have stayed at. I just have to agree with most of the other reviews. The building and gardens are beautiful, with an interesting (and well explained) history. Wendy is very friendly...

Just reading the web site details will only give you a hint at the cosseted no, spoilt, time we spent there. The place has an...

We had an excellent couple of nights in a fantastic house that has a great history. Wendy made us very welcome and was always on hand to give helpful advice on where to go and what to do. Delightful bedroom and a wonderful garden to explore. Homemade bread, preserves and delicious cake - what's not to like?

When it comes to my steak I like my rump; when it comes to sleeping I’m most comfortable on my back; and I’m the kind of guy that like sitting at the back of the bus, so there was little surprise that I found the charm in this bnb at the back of the house. And charm us it did,...
