We arrived at Llandudno without having booked anything, not knowing where we would end up. We thought the hotel looked nice from outside so went in to see if there was any rooms for a night. The receptionist on booking was lovely and made us very welcome. Got a good price for a double room, expecting that we would get...

My husband and I decided to spend a weekend in Llandudno and chose this hotel because of the excellent reviews. Unfortunately because of a problem with the booking.com website we were unable to have the king size room with sea view we booked. The hotel informed us immediately and was very apologetic. After some discussion we were offered a family...

What a pleasant surprise! Just spent 3 days at this very special Hotel with a party of mixed ages and disabilities. All the staff were so polite, helpful and professional. Special mention for the owner Paul who couldn't do enough for everyone. He even came outside and helped us wash the Seagulls presents from my car! Also a special mention for...

This was an activity holiday -- the main activity being eating. The Merrion's kitchen and restaurant staff performed as impressively as ever: breakfasts are substantial; and the evening menu varied and delicious. Service...
